The comfortable apartment “Ferienwohnung Faden” is situated in the beautiful historical centre of Konstanz, close to all the sights and only a short walk from the lakeshore. The apartment on the first floor consists of a living area with 2 single beds, a well-equipped kitchen, one bathroom and can therefore accommodate 2 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, a washing machine, a dryer, iron and ironing board and first aid kit (upon request for general use) and cable television. Due to the apartment’s central location, you will find many cafés, bakeries and restaurants, as well as the monastery and a theatre within 100 m, along the narrow old streets. The cathedral, Konstanzer Münster, is a 2-minute walk or 140 m away, and you will get to a supermarket after a 7-minute walk (550 m). The train station is located a 12-minute walk (1 km) away, next to the marina and the ferry terminal. The closest beach, Strandbad Horn, is 3.5 km or a 10-minute drive away and next to the thermal bath. There, you can swim in the clear blue water and in the midst of a wonderful panorama. From the apartment, you can walk across the German-Swiss border in 15 minutes (1.2 km) to the neighbouring town of Kreuzlingen in Switzerland, and in winter, you can also go skiing, a 35-minute drive (25 km) from Konstanz. There is a car park about 1 km away from the apartment (€10 per week). Bed linens and towels are included in the price. Pets are not allowed. You will receive a guest card, which entitles you to use all public transport for free. The visitor’s tax is 3€ per person per day. Please do not smoke in the apartment. -
