In the heart of Budapest downtown, a naturally charming apartment in a quiet house. You can find everything within literally 10 minutes walk: restaurants, bars, Budapest POI and sightseeing places. Convenient reachability no matter what you come by. The space This apartment is set in the center of Budapest downtown, touristical and governmental area in a quiet, early 20th century building with local people and fellow tourists. The space couldn't be in a better spot so you can reach REALLY everything that is needed for your stay within 10 minutes walk (hence the name of the apt.). For longer distances there are public transportation stops very closeby. I provide the entire apartment (with no sharing) to my guests so you can enjoy the apartment and all of its privacy. The apartment is intentionally designed to make your stay as perfect as I can. Besides providing a lot of comfort I thought why wouldn't do that naturally. I think colors and materials can be really soothing to make your stay more pleasant so I used a lot of wood and natural colors to achieve my goal. I hope you'll appreciate that. I'm happy to answer all your questions. Other things to note The apartment is located in Budapest's main touristical, governmental and banking area so it's probably the safest area in Budapest. Getting around From the airport: The cheapest way from the airport to the apartment is to take public transportation. Take bus 100E to "Deák Ferenc tér". It's 5 minutes walk from there to the apartment. It costs a special Airport shuttle ticket and costs HUF 900 (EUR 3) per person. Tickets can be bought at the airport from the ticket machines or from the driver. The trip takes 35-40 minutes (it's almost as fast as a taxi). The easiest way to take a taxi from the airport costs around HUF 8-10000 (EUR ~30). In this case be aware to take a licensed Budapest taxi (displayed on the driver's side and inside on the passenger side of the taxi, usually yellow). Please don't use any freelancer taxi driver, use ONLY Főtaxi as the official contracted taxi service of Budapest airport. The trip takes around 25-50 minutes depending on traffic. From Bus/Train station: no matter which train or bus you come by since every station has a connection with one of the underground lines go to Deák square (M2 and M3). From here you can conveniently walk to the house. With car: you have to pay for parking on the streets and is available only up to 3 hours. There are several underground parking garages around the building within 5-10 minutes walk. Please learn more at Google maps and the websites of the garages. Any traffic monitoring navigation service (such as Waze) is recommended because of downtown traffic. Minutes of walking: Budapest eye (in the summer) - 2 mins Several Christmas Markets (in the winter) - 3-5 mins Deák Square, main metro/underground hub - 4 mins Basilica - 4 mins Chain bridge and River Danube (Duna) - 2 mins Fashion street and Váci shopping street - 3 mins In case you come around Christmas the famous christmas market in Vörösmarty tér - 2 mins Erzsébet square with park and occasional gastronomy events and fairs - 2 mins Premium grocery store and 24/7 grocery store - 2-3 mins House of Parliament - 9 mins Buda side (the other side of the river with Buda castle and cable car up to it) - 10 mins Opera house - 9 mins Gozsdu court with several bars pubs and concert venues - 8 mins Several restaurants, pastry shops, cafés according to your mood and taste. House rules and manual: Check-in: the apartment runs self check-in. The instructions (4 easy steps) are sent on the day of your arrival. For security reasons I cannot send it earlier. Please respect the place keeping it clean and tidy as other guests will arrive after your stay. All in 10 apartment is located in a residential building in the downtown of Budapest. Maintenance works, renovations may occur during your stay in the building or the area. Please respect the neighbourhood not to make noise at all times especially before 8AM and after 6PM. Heating and hot water runs from one single heater. Please do not set the heating warmer than 22.5 degrees as you may not have hot water due to overloading the heater. Communication is key importance. Please be available and answer the messages that I may send as I'll do my best to answer yours.
