Summary: Casina Rossa is a spacious 7 bedroom villa sleeping up to 16 guests. Built and furnished in a typical Tuscan style, it's a great opportunity to enjoy an authentic stay in Tuscany. The Space: The interior measures 265 square metres. On the ground floor, guests will find a dining room seating up to 16 guests, a separate living room with fireplace, kitchen and WC. Stairs lead to the first floor where there is a double bedroom. A mezzanine floor in this room leads to an area with 2 single beds. There are 4 further double bedrooms on this floor, one of which has air conditioning. All bedrooms enjoy ensuite bathrooms. (Please note this is the only bedroom to have A/C). A separate dependence in the grounds measures 75 square metres and is home to a spacious open plan living and dining area with kitchenette. Upstairs there is a double bedroom and a twin room along with two bathrooms, both with showers. An entrance to the rear of this building takes you into a small relaxation area, equipped with sauna, plunge pool, bathroom and laundry room. Outside, there is a large covered verandah equipped with dining table and BBQ, perfect for al fresco dining. Slightly further from the house is a private salt water swimming pool (10 x 5 metres, depth 140cm). There is also a table tennis table. Please note that for those staying during the Winter months, heating is charged at 0.70 euros per litre based on consumption. All guests receive a complimentary cold dinner on arrival and continental breakfast for their first morning. The Neighborhood: The villa is situated in the Upper Valdarno, one of the most beautiful areas of Tuscany, captured in paintings by Leonardo da Vinci and other Renaissance artists. Bordered on the West by the Chianti hills and on the East by the mountains of Pratomagno, it is a landscape dotted with olive groves, woodland and vineyards and filled with numerous charming villages well worth visiting. Whilst it's in the middle of the countryside, the villa is not isolated either, just 3 km away from Leccio, which boasts all the amenities and shops you could wish for. 10 km away is the village of Figline Valdarno.
