Some time ago we realised that when we travel, we feel much more comfortable and relaxed when we stay at places which make us feel at home. We fell in love with the building and the location because of its unique character, its rare stone-built construction, the breath-taking panoramic views and the relaxing pine tree surroundings. Two spectacular beaches are located just a 5-minute drive. The local beach is rather secluded and awarded with a Blue Flag. THE SPACE 1 large master bedroom with lounge + 2 bedrooms, 2 WC (1 bath + 1 shower), 1 open-plan kitchen/Livingroom, 2 patios, 3 balconies, and communal gardens. The interior design is a fusion of modern touches natural materials and earthy colours, which perfectly compliment the magnificent stone walls. The building’s rare stone construction can keep the interior naturally cool even in the hottest days of the summer. The maisonette boasts a stylish open-plan living room kitchen and dining area, three fully equipped air-conditioned bedrooms with high quality super-king size beds, three balconies with calming views of the sea and pine trees, one large bathroom in the first floor and a small bathroom (toilet & shower) on the ground floor. You will also find a lovely brick-built private barbecue and two 6-seater dining tables, inside and outside in the private patio. Villa Nature can comfortably accommodate 6 adults with its three super-king size beds. A folding bed for a child and a cot can be provided upon request. Broadband internet connection is available over Wi-Fi, as well as wired internet in the master bedroom. The home is fully equipped beyond 5-star hotel standards, and all windows and balcony doors are fitted with meshes allowing you to enjoy the natural breeze even at night time. NEIGHBOURHOOD OVERVIEW Kriopigi is in one of the greenest areas of western Halkidiki. This strategic location offers both a tranquil environment and quick access to the best beaches of western Halkidiki, beach bars and cosmopolitan hot spots like Kalithea and Pefkochori, ideal for family strolls and for night life. All within a short 5 to 10 minute drive. Kriopigi is 83km (~1h) from Thessaloniki airport via Greece’s newest motorway. Two spectacular beaches are located just a 5-minute drive. The local beach is around 10 minutes walk down the hill or 2 minutes by car. Free parking is available at the local beach and nearby beaches. There are beaches with organised and natural sections to satisfy everyone’s taste. For example see Aegean Melathron beach. The maisonette is surrounded by large 5600 sqm communal gardens inside a complex of five identical beautiful tower-style stone buildings. The estate is family oriented. Free parking is available. The center of Kriopigi village is home to some great places where you can enjoy the original Greek cuisine at very reasonable prices. A bank, ATM, supermarket, shops, cafés, and scooter/car hire can also be found in the village of Kriopigi, which is a short 5 to 8 minute walk from the maisonette. Kriopigi has also a bus service to other villages and towns around the area. OTHER DETAILS Although this is not a beachfront home it benefits by a breath-taking panoramic sea view and a cooler environment during the hot days of the summer as it is situated on a hill near the beach. For bookings with a length of 10 days or longer the property is serviced once-weekly. Additional cleaning may be possible for a fee, however note that cleaning gear is available in Villa Nature. Basic barbeque gear is provided. This excludes consumables like charcoal.
