The chalet is the ideal starting point for road cycling and mountain biking with around 560km routes on your doorstep. Walkers and climbers are not forgotten either, it is located right at the foot of the mountain Mitter, offering great walks in the neighboring forest. With endless activities for the whole family, from canyoning or climbing to relaxing by a lake or the nearby outdoor swimming pool. Horse riders and golfers are also well catered for in the region. The chalet is located in the beautiful region of the Lungau Valley, in the middle of the ski areas Aineck Katschberg, Großeck Speiereck, Fanningberg and Obertauern. It is located on the edge of the forest in the rural village of Neusess 2km from the traditional mountain town of Mauterndorf, where there are numerous shops, bars and restaurants. It is easily accessible from the A10 motorway, approximately 1 hour from Salzburg. The ski region Lungau / Lungo offers 64 ski lifts and 300 km of slopes. Just minutes away is the ski area Katschberg - the largest ski area in the region, all ski areas are accessible with the free ski bus. For those who do not indulge in skiing sports, there are 150 km of cross-country ski trails and 80 km skating trails, hiking trails, toboggan runs and sleigh rides.
