Relax, have a glass of wine and watch the hot air balloons float in the sky at sunrise or sunset. A truly tranquil spot situated in 4 acres of countryside - at the top of the gorgeous sloping Dordogne valleys. Use our bicycles to get around or have a BBQ outside and take in the scenery. Located only 10 minutes drive from the medieval towns Sarlat-la-Canéda and Beynac-et-Cazenac, and one hour from Rocamadour and the wine regions of St Emilion, and onwards to Bordeaux. This property is complete luxury, with beautiful bedrooms, bathrooms, dining rooms and living rooms for all the family to enjoy. The Space: You can self check-in on arrival using our key box. We have plenty of parking for multiple vehicles in front of the house. Fresh linen, bath & pool towels provided, with an onsite washer & dryer. Fully equipped kitchen with tea, coffee and cooking basics provided. Plenty of board games and kids toys to enjoy, DVDs to watch and wifi throughout. A luxury roll top bath in the Master Bedroom, a unique double shower in one of the en-suites and two separate living rooms give this home a true, luxurious feel. We have some wonderful nature around. The pool is only open May to October, and it is not a heated pool. The hot tub is available all year round There are plenty of lovely walking routes nearby the house. 5 Bikes (Assorted kids and adult sizes) are available to use. The Neighborhood: There is a local bakery called Margot Boulangerie approx. 5min drive away from the house. Beynac et Cazenac also has plenty of local shops. For bigger shops, bars & restaurants Sarlat-et-Canéda is a beautiful medieval town with unmissable Saturday food markets and gorgeous independent shops. There is a tourist information hub located with plenty of recommendations of things to do, and our welcome pack has lots of information for you. Beynac-et-Cazenac is a beautiful town located on a hill where you can visit the stunning Château de Beynac. Around this area you can hire a kayak or boat for the day and cruise along the River Dordogne. Please check out my guidebook for some more things to do! Getting Around: The nearest airport is Bergerac (1hr 10min drive) The other nearest airports are Toulouse, Brive or Bordeaux It is recommended that you hire a car for the duration of your stay. The local supermarket is located in Sarlat-et-Canéda (Carrefour Market - 15min drive) Other Things to Note: Things to note: - WiFi onsite is a rural, and sometimes weak 4G service. - We have a zero tolerance policy on parties and events of any kind, and retain security deposits in instances where parties take place without our written consent.
