Two bedroom annexe, private annexe attached to larger family home. There is one king bed, one single bed and a double and 2 single sofa beds in the lounge. Shared gardens. Westvale is five miles from Bath. Part of a converted farm house, the oldest part dating from around 1740. A Victorian dairy and milking parlour were later added to the house, and finally the herdsman's cottage, all creating a rambling, extended house of great charm. Westvale House annexe stands off a lane in the tiny hamlet of Nailwell. The house faces West with panoramic views over perfect Somerset rolling hills and fields, all part of the Duchy Of Cornwall Estate. The garden slopes down to ponds and a small coppice. There is a tennis court. There is a delightful orchard with pear, plum, greengage, apple and damsons The house is set in a large garden facing West, and is a haven for wild life, being quiet and secluded. Animals and birds that the family have seen include hare, badgers, hedgehogs, ducks on the ponds, and roe deer. The birds include partridges, pheasants, ring doves and many small wild birds, relishing the peace of the place. In the annexe side of the house, there are one double and one single and a shower room.
