Stone Green Oast is a beautiful square kiln oast converted to comfortable holiday accommodation. This is an "upside-down" house: steps lead up to the main entrance upstairs where there is an open-plan sitting and dining room and a separate well-equipped kitchen. An open spiral staircase leads downstairs to the bathroom and bedrooms (1 double and one twin). The master bedroom has french doors which lead up a short flight of steps to the pretty enclosed garden. Outside there is good quality garden furniture, a barbeque and secure storage for bikes. 2 adult bikes are available for use by guests. The property is situated on the Saxon Shore Way, in a quiet hamlet, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, 3/4 mile from the nearest public house. The nearest shop is 2 miles away in Appledore and the Cinque Port market town of Tenterden is 7 miles. The ancient town of Rye, with its wide range of restaurants, pubs and live music, is 5 miles away. The property is ideally situated to explore the wide variety of activities that Kent and Sussex coast offer: the beautiful beaches at Camber and Rye Harbour are great for children and for walking the dogs. Canterbury, with its mediaeval cathedral and excellent shopping, is only an hour away by car. The high speed train from nearby Ashford International takes you to London in only 35 minutes.
