CHIANTI VILLA: AIR-CO, SWPOOL,CATERING,WIFI & MORE

Our property LE RONDINI is located in the village of Poppiano. Inside the estate, we offer a large VILLA called COLONICA THAT IS PROVIDED WITH AIRCO IN ALL THE ROOMS SINCE FROM APRIL 2020. THe Villa has been recently restored originating a villa made of 9 bedrooms (of which 5 double-bedrooms and 4 rooms that can be used as triple-, twin- or double-bedrooms), 10 bathrooms (each one with shower, bidet, wc, basin; one is suitable for handicapped people-Each bedrooms has its own en-suite bathroom plus there is an extra bathroom downstairs), 2 large living-diningrooms each one with fireplaces (made of stones) and TVs-sat, and each one with an equipped corner with all you need to cook; in addition, there is 1 large kitchen fully equipped with a 4 ring stove, fridge, freezer, dish-washer, microwave, moka (Italian Coffe-Maker), toaster and kettle. Next to this kitchen there is a large diningroom able to accommodate at table up to 20 people. Private heating. The COLONICA has 3 private shady gardens equipped with BBQs, tables and chairs in order to relax or eat 'opem-air'. Wi-FI Internet Connection (or High-Speed Plug-In Internet Connection-both options) available in each room of Colonica. At guests' disposal there are: private parking places; a laundry-room ; a swimmingpool 15x7,5 metres large; a foosbal. The rooms do not need air-conditiong because they are very fresh on Summer, due to the particular orientation/position of the house. However EACH BEDROOM is provided with a FAN in order to refresh your days and nights. ON GUESTS' request WE MAY RENT THEM AIR_CONDITIONING UNITS on Summer! On request, each morning we may offer to guests fresh bread and pastries. On request, we may cook for you typical Tuscan dinners at about 25-35 Euros per person, including water and wine. We produce our own extra-virgin olive oil and other homemade products. WE also produce cosmetics made with extra-virgin-olive-oil!You are very welcome to join us to observe the olive and grape harvests in September, October and November, so that you may enjoy the real taste of Tuscany! Enjoy at our villa the unique experience of a “GUIDED WINE AND OLIVE OIL TASTING” carried out by a CERTIFIED SOMMELIER and WINE CONNOISSEUR (who attended, among the best Italian and Tuscan Schools also the Wine Spectator School in New York)! Ask the reception for details and prices if you wish to enhance your “wine culture” while having a lot of fun ! We may also guide you to a private visit to the Montespertoli’s wine growers’ cooperative. A touristic guide/cicerone is also available upon request to tour the main Tuscan towns and cities. Pick-up and taxi service available as well upon request. It is also possible to organize “Chianti Wine Tours” that may you give you also the chance to discover the Chianti region off from the most touristical tracks and make a true wine-excursion with visits to cellars and wine-tasting. A stop for lunch in a local trattoria on the route (a typical, informal restaurant) will top your experience (on high season we recommend to book the tours or ask for quotation and availability at least 20-30 days in advance) For groups up to 32 persons or BIGGER (MAX CAPACITY is 48 PERSONS) we may also offer a smaller house suitable for up to 8 persons, called FIENILE, plus other rooms, few steps away from the COLONICA VILLA, contact us for details. INFORMATION REGARDING THE HEALTH & CLEANING MEASURES WE ARE TAKING AT OUR PLACE: We have been and we are all witnesses of what the advent of this insidious and dangerous Covid_19 virus has meant for our families, for our communities and for our way of life. The situation is quite disheartening, but every day I witness acts of courage, humanity and love which cheer me up and bring me hope and joy. Although we are going through a difficult time, I am optimistic that our world will thrive again. When it happens, we are and will be ready to welcome you at our Podere Le Rondini. Our commitment: We are remaining strictly relevant to all the directives and rules provided by the World Health Organization and the local health authorities regarding all the sanitary and health practices to implement against the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Our priority is and remains the health of our guests and customers. Our commitment regarding Cleaning & Hygiene: Hygiene and cleanliness standards are extremely important to us and we are implementing additional measures to ensure the safety and health of our guests and collaborators. The highest levels of hygiene and cleanliness are achieved daily in all the rooms and areas at our place; in this period of health emergency we are maximizing the commitment and the work of our staff on this issue in order to ensure that the latest hygiene and cleanliness directives and guidelines are achieved and respected, so to ensure the safety of our guests and of our staff. The increase in cleaning and sanitation practices is spreading from careful hands washing to using specific and powerful cleaning products, passing through accurate cleaning procedures specifically dedicated to guest rooms and common areas. Specific measures & practices implemented at Podere Le Rondini include: Hand hygiene: washing hands correctly and frequently is essential to combat the spread of viruses. This simple gesture or practice is of primary importance for everybody’s health. Health, safety and training of our collaborators and staff: on a daily base, we work very hard in order to ensure the safety of our staff. Furthermore, the staff has been specifically trained regarding the COVID-19, in order to achieve the maximum effectiveness of our cleaning and health plan. That's why we also implement a constant staff training: the cleaning department and the whole staff are trained with an advanced preparation addressed to the health and safety practices against COVID-19. Products and modus operandi: • Rooms: thorough careful cleaning and disinfestation of each room before the arrival and on the departure of each guest, with particular attention addressed to objects or items that are touched with an higher frequency, such as door-handles, TV remote controls and so on. • Common spaces/areas: common areas are carefully cleaned and disinfected, with particular attention addressed to the elements and furnishings which are being touched more frequently or with greatest attendance, such as railings, reception-desk, door-handles, public toilets, room keys. • Areas closed to clients (‘staff only’ areas): extreme care in cleaning is as well dedicated to places and areas frequented by the staff only, such as reserved entrances, changing rooms or warehouses.
