Our apartment (Casa San Gennaro) is part of a six apartment 'Borghetto' (formerly a rural, rustic farmhouse from the 14th century) in the hills below the village of San Gennaro near Lucca. The apartment is a tasteful blend of rustic, contemporary and antique furnishings. A 5 x 12 metre swimming pool with beautifully manicured lawns is shared by the apartments and is located on the terrace above the apartment with lovely views down the valley toward Lucca. We are proud to offer a lifestyle in the heart of Tuscany that is truly unique. Picture yourself on the grounds of an historic 14th century building, rebuilt to the highest standards using only traditional Tuscan materials and methods, from handmade terra cotta tiled floors, to chestnut beams and tiled ceilings. The property also makes extensive use of hand built stone walls in keeping with the character and traditions of Tuscany. The inviting open floor plan, which includes the living, dining and kitchen areas, is perfect for sharing meals and conversation. The fully equipped kitchen fitted in white Carrara marble has everything you need: a five-burner gas stove, oven and broiler, and dishwasher.
