Church Farm Cottage is a relaxed and tranquil hideaway - the perfect place to 'get away from it all'. Originally a stable and hayloft, it stands on one side of the farm courtyard opposite a 17th century barn. Now beautifully converted, it has one double bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, dining area, sitting room and small walled garden making it the perfect environment to relax and enjoy the peaceful tranquility of Church Farm and it's stunning landsape. Situated in the heart of the picturesque village of Kington Langley, which boasts a village green and duck pond, beautiful country walks and guests can enjoy the gentle pace of village life. Bath is 12 miles away and we're a short drive to the delightful villages and towns of Lacock, Castle Coombe, Corsham and Bradford on Avon. We're ideally placed for exploring The Cotswolds, Salisbury, Tetbury and many private and National Trust properties such as Bowood and Dyrham Park. Church Farm is just 3 minutes from Junction 17 on the M4 and conveniently located 8 minutes from Chippenham railway station which has fast trains taking you directly to London Paddington, Bath and Bristol. New kitchen Equipment and crockery for four people. More can be supplied on request. Fridge with freezer compartment. Washing machine and tumble dryer. Iron, ironing board, microwave. Sitting Room Comfortable sitting room with doors to garden and dining area with table and four chairs. More can be supplied on request. Flat screen television with DVD player and library of films. Games and books for rainy days. French doors out to secluded garden with outside table and chairs and BBQ. Garden The walled cottage garden has a private sitting area with table and chairs. Gate leading to farmhouse garden and on to the meadow with woodland beyond, all of which you are welcome to enjoy. Bedroom Four poster bed. Towels and linen supplied. Feather-free duvet and pillows available on request. Heated towel rail. Bathroom Bath with hand held shower attachment, loo and hand basin. Parking There is ample parking outside the cottage in the courtyard. There is also room to accommodate horseboxes during Badminton and Gatcombe Park Horse Trials. Extra beds Two single camp beds available . Both with linen for small additional charge. Babies & Toddlers The cottage is open plan and care needs to be taken with the stairs if crawling babies and toddlers stay. We have a high chair available, travel cot and other items on request. Babysitting Can be arranged with prior warning. Smoking Church Farm cottage is non-smoking. Cleaning The cottage will have been thoroughly cleaned just before your arrival and we request it is left in good order. Recycling Recycling is encouraged and a recycling box is provided. Telephone The cottage does not have a telephone but mobile reception is usually good depending on your service provider- Urgent messages may be left with Will or Kate Bicknell.
