11, Route d'Eglise is found along a little driveway and sits in a large plot of land (3300sqm) with plenty of mature gardens and trees surrounding it. It has a large sunny south-west facing terrace, perfect for eating al-fresco and enjoying the views of the countryside. The house itself provides spacious and modern accommodation, with satellite TV, DVD and a WIFI connection. Just a few minutes walk away, a mini-market, a pharmacy, a butchers and an outstanding patisserie/boulangerie all provide the utmost convenience for visitors. Within two minutes walk is a friendly and delicious restaurant Auberge du Relais, great for Sunday lunch and enjoying the delicious fruits de mer of the region. Within minutes of driving, there are sandy beaches to be enjoyed and small snack stations and playgrounds for children in many of these little coastal towns. This location is a great option for everyone, with its mild climate, historic gardens and artists and delicious food. A hairdryer is provided. Outside there are two picnic tables and sun umbrellas to provide shade. There is also a paddling pool for guests with small children to use. The garden is also fully-enclosed so children can roam. Close by just a few minutes walk towards the sea, is the famous Bois de Moutiers, http://www.boisdesmoutiers.com/ a beautiful old arts and crafts house with a numerous large historic gardens which make a very pleasant afternoon stroll. Then there is the 'Shamrock' garden also a few minutes walk, holding the biggest collection of hortensias in the world, with more than 1000 varieties. Within Varengeville itself, there is also Manoir d'Ango to visit, a summer palace built by Jehan Ango in the 1500s in the Italian Renaissance style. The Ciderie in the village also has a tea room with outside seating and hosts art exhibitions of local artists in the area - well worth a visit: http://www.pimentbleu-tissagedemoret.fr/ Further afield there is Dieppe at 10 minutes drive away, with a covered swimming pool complex, a Sea Museum and a Castle with many steps to climb and a reward of amazing sea views. Many cafes and restaurants provide good refuelling, making a trip to the large, imposing Gothic church, possible. Still further away there are other lovely seaside towns of Veules-les-Roses and Saint-Valery-En-Caux, both charming little seaside towns to explore. The area too is dotted with supermarkets meaning a full shop can be easily done, either 5 minutes away at Offranville or 10 minutes away in Dieppe.
