Skipton, the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales National Park, is only 3 miles away and boasts a superb choice of independent restaurants. Step inside and you’ll discover a cosy space with charming original features, like a vaulted ceiling, grand stone fireplace, and exposed beams. The wood burner makes the living room especially welcoming on winter evenings. The master bedroom is on the ground floor and features a plush super king size bed. This can be made into a twin as needed. Upstairs, there’s a quaint attic bedroom with twin beds. However, the low ceiling makes it only suitable for children. The setting Broughton’s fusion of outdoor activities and therapeutic experiences is unique. Throughout the 3,000-acre Estate you’ll find opportunities to engage with nature, whether that’s forest bathing, wild swimming, hiking, or simply playing tennis in stunning surroundings. Avalon is our wellbeing centre and yoga retreat. It offers a range of classes and holistic therapies in addition to a stunning indoor pool and gym. We also have an on-site bistro and dining delivery service offering delicious, locally sourced meals. Skipton Train Station is less than ten minutes away by car and the Estate is walking distance to local bus routes
