Nestled in a mid-terrace barn conversion in the peaceful location of Batson, this charming area is tucked away from the crowds of Salcombe but within a short walk into the town centre, where you can find plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants to while away the hours. Perfect for a family holiday home as it has a secure rear garden where both the dogs and children can play safely. With ample parking for up to 3 cars and this property also welcomes our four legged friends to join us at an additional price of £40 per dog. Oyster Cottage is accessed down a path through the beautifully kept communal gardens and parking area. Outside is a small patio with a wrought iron cottage style patio set to catch the morning sun with a cup of coffee. You enter the cottage via the welcoming and handy front porch ideal for storing coats and boots which then leads you into a lovely open plan sitting room with a fabulous wood burner and two comfortable sofas. It is the perfect place to unwind, relax, and make plans for another lovely day. The sitting room leads through to an open plan dining area which is spacious and looks out to the rear patio area and has the advantage of a stable door to let in the fresh air. The farmhouse table is situated beside the convenient serving hatch from the kitchen, handy for serving breakfast or a piping hot Sunday lunch. This property has a fully equipped galley kitchen with all you would need to cater during your stay. The benefits of a dishwasher, washing machine and 50/50 fridge freezer are ideal for a family stay. From the kitchen is another stable door leading into the sheltered rear garden, ideal when using the al-fresco dining area where there is seating for 6 as well as a barbecue, perfect for wining and dining on lazy warm summer evenings. Steps in the garden lead you up to a lawn area, where you will find a picnic table with lovely valley views. A staircase from the living area leads you to the first floor, where there are three very comfortable and tastefully decorated bedrooms and a modern bathroom. Bedroom one and two both have double beds, bedside tables, chests of drawers and ample space for your personal belongings. The bedroom windows at the front of the house have fantastic views onto the communal gardens and the stunning countryside in the distance. The bedroom windows at the back of the house overlook the green oasis of the rear garden. Bedroom three has bunk beds and handy shelves for clothes and other personal belongings. The light and modern bathroom has a shower over bath, washbasin, towel radiator and toilet.
