Sunny 25 m2 holiday apartment suitable for 4 people in the Sefcotel building right next to the ski slopes and ski school meeting point. The apartment offers doorstep skiing and is 50 metres from the Tufs chairlift, which takes you directly to the slopes of Val d'Isère in just a few minutes. Val Claret's main road, where you will find the tourist office, lift pass office and many other shops (supermarket, baker, chemist, etc) is approximately 80 metres from the building. REFUND GUARANTEE COVID 19 I undertake to refund you if you are unable to come to Tignes, for your stay, for one the following reasons: - a new official lockdown in France or in your country of residence is put in place; - new travel restrictions in France or in your country of residence are put in place; To receive this refund you must cancel your reservation within three days of the announcement of a new lockdown or travel restrictions in France or in your country of residence. During the summer, for any booking, you can benefit from a MY TIGNES CARD per person AT A SPECIAL PRICE. Arrival after 3:30 pm, departure before 10:30 am. The apartment consists of a main room, a kitchenette, a bathroom with bath/shower, a separate toilet and an area for storing ski equipment. The traditional wooden furniture in the main room is functional and comfortable. The apartment is West facing and has a small South-West facing balcony with a clear view of the mountains and ski slopes. The apartment has central heating and effective thermal and acoustic insulation. In the main room there is a sofa bed (2 single beds, 190x80 cm), a bunk bed (2 single beds, 190x90 cm), a table, four chairs, a chest of drawers, a wardrobe, a flat screen television, a mirror and a shelf unit. The kitchenette has a three ring induction hob, an oven, a fridge, a dishwasher, a coffee machine, a kettle, a toaster, a raclette set and everything you should need for cooking, eating and drinking. The bedding consists of four good quality foam mattresses, four single duvets (140x200 cm) and four pillows (60x60 cm). Sheets and pillowcases are not provided but can be rented on site. A baby travel cot is available in the apartment. Please note that the apartment is non-smoking and animals are not permitted. The apartment is not suitable for people with reduced mobility (because of a couple of steps in the corridor leading to it). On the ground floor of the building are several restaurants and bars, a ski hire shop, a hairdresser, a launderette and other shops. There is a night club in the basement. The entrances of the building are protected by an access badge system. Please note that: - You will find on your arrival: 1 roll of toilet paper and everything marked in the inventory which you will find at the end of the description of my apartment in "Other things to note". - To avoid increasing my prices I give my guests the choice to either bring their own sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases, towels and other household linen or to rent them on site. The price of a linen pack for 1 person (1 sheet, 1 duvet cover, 1 pillowcase, 1 bath sheet) is €22 whatever the length of your stay. The payment must be made on arrival. Please let me know if you want to bring your own linen or if you prefer to rent it on site. - End of stay cleaning is not included in the rental price. Guests must do the cleaning before departure. Disinfectant and virucidal cleaning products are provided. If you do not wish to do the cleaning, please notify me, in which case you must pay a fee of €40 when picking up the keys. Following several departures of guests who did not do the final cleaning at the end of their stay as agreed, we now require a deposit of €40 for guests who do not take the cleaning option. This deposit is requested when the keys are handed over, and is paid preferably by credit card (the card is only debited if there is a problem with the cleaning). The cleaning option (€40) becomes compulsory for any checkout before 8 am, i.e. before someone can come and check the apartment. - Due to the health situation, you should bring your own face masks, hydro-alcoholic gel and gloves as well as soap, shampoo, shower gel and other daily hygiene products. Also, no food products (such as oil, salt and pepper) will be present in the apartment. However, you will be able to buy them on site (pharmacy, supermarket, etc.). - Due to the health situation, no brochures or documentation about Tignes will be available in the apartment. You can access the Tignes Practical Digital Guide (calendar & activities, resort alerts, webcams, weather, bus timetable, lifts, interactive trail map, bike park and more) by downloading the Tignes App. - The welcome eBook will be sent to you by e-mail before your arrival The apartment is completely at your disposal. There is no ski locker in the building, but an area of the apartment has been arranged for storing ski equipment. My representative in Tignes will check you in and out of the apartment and will be available for questions during your stay. Any contact that you have together will strictly adhere to physical distancing guidelines. You will also be able to contact me directly in the event of any problem. The apartment is located in the Val Claret, the liveliest village of Tignes. For skiing, you will be in the centre of the Tignes/Val d'Isère skiing area. The "Tufs" ski lift, which takes you directly to the slopes of Val d'Isère in just a few minutes, is 50 metres from the Sefcotel. The funicular that takes you to the glacier is just a few minutes away. You can ski from and to the front door of the building! After skiing and in the evenings there are a number of restaurants, bars and shops on the ground floor of the building. A night club is in the basement. For hikers, the building is next to the "Tufs" chairlift, which is open during the summer for pedestrians and mountain bikers. Val Claret is the start point for some wonderful mountain walks. Ski and mountain bike hire shops, a hairdresser, a launderette and other shops are situated on the ground floor of the Sefcotel building. If you come by car, you can temporarily park near the building in order to unload. The use of the official car parks is compulsory. In Tignes Val Claret there is one indoor car park (Parking du Golf) and one open air car park (Parking de la Grande Motte). During the winter season, from 27 November 2021 until 1 May 2022, charges apply. The car park can be booked in advance on the Tignes website. During the summer and off-season, the car parks are free. If you come by bus you can leave your luggage in the luggage store right next to the Tourist Office in Tignes Val Claret's main street. The price should be approximately €2 per item. There is a free shuttle service for travelling between the various villages in Tignes. In the winter they run 24/24. In the summer, shuttles run until around 6-6:30 pm. Internet connection: - There is no Wifi in the apartment, but Tignes offers a free high-speed connection ("Tignes neospot") from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm with a broad diffusion area. Outside of these hours, you will be offered 15 free minutes to read your e-mails, as well as the possibility of paying for internet access. Access to Tignes' own portal is completely free and unlimited. -4G E-Pocket keys are available at the Maison de Tignes from €8/day or €49/week. - During the summer, for any booking, you can benefit from a MY TIGNES CARD per person AT A SPECIAL PRICE (holiday rates - staying with an approved accommodation provider).
