My cleaning team are justifiably proud of their work and want to ensure that all guests can enjoy their holiday . We have therefore implemented with immediate effect an additional disinfectant policy which will see all areas of heavy footfall and frequently touched areas including handrails, work surfaces, remotes, light switches & knobs being disinfected on every changeover plus uv light cleaning to other surfaces . As you can imagine this is adding additional time to the cleans. We therefore request that you abide by our check in / check out times in order for them to carry out their work and unlike regular times , I cannot grant early access or late check out . . Please observe my cancellation policy if you choose to travel and take out adequate insurance to cover your holiday Incase of cancellation due to local travel restrictions and law changes outside our control after booking as my cancellation policies will still apply . THE BEACH HOUSE ———————————————— As soon as you enter this lovely coastal home you will instantly feel at ease. The kitchen Includes a stainless steel range-master induction cooker , designer sinks and solid oak work surfaces and affords views over green fields where sheep graze up to the fence . The perfect place to prepare a family feast with locally sourced fresh ingredients that can be be found on your doorstep . There’s the famous ‘ swallow fish ‘ in seahouses or another Rick Stein favourite ‘ Carter’s ‘ butchers in Bamburgh , Fresh vegetables are in abundance at the local independent food shop in the village . Otherwise there’s a local coop or Sainsbury’s and Tesco both deliver to the house . After settling in you may want to unwind and re connect to nature with a long stroll along the wide sandy dog friendly beach , gaze out towards Longstone lighthouse, or explore the rockpools when the tide is out. If you're lucky you may spot the pod of playful dolphins that have been playing in these waters for the last few years or so or catch the light of aurora borealis that is also seen from here Then to spoil yourself , why not indulge your senses and soothe those aching joints by enjoying a dip in the new hot tub whilst admiring the local wildlife as you soak . Whatever day time adventures you choose you will love cosying up on the sofas in front of our wood burning stove after all that fresh seaside air and enjoying some precious time engaging with loved ones , something we took for granted before the pandemic stole that joy . Teenagers may want to hide temporarily in their own chill room in the annexe ( all part of the house but with a private aspect ) or grandparents for that matter :-) The house is accessible for all , wheelchair users included as we as a family understand deeply the need for real inclusion and connection as a whole family unit whilst refusing to compromise on style and comfort to do so . The Wet room with disabled loo and expensive specialist beds ensure that complex care needs can be met without compromising one little bit on style for all to enjoy (but please do not plug them in or attempt to use cot sides if you don’t need them and ensure children are told not to for their own safety ) **.please note that whilst we have tried to provide for most people including with severe needs by lending our daughters equipment by request , we cannot provide everything for everyone ... but if you need to bring a special shower chair etc please arrange with us to bring one and equipment is borrowed at your own risk as we cannot be responsible for injury caused by others using it . Up to two well behaved adult dogs are allowed by prior request. . The perfect place in all seasons to get back to nature and re-charge those batteries. . All ingredients provided for precious time and memories to take home and treasure. Just add family and friends! x
