Cozy ranch house in an historic working apple orchard. Located on RT 4 in Mendon, we are just 6 miles from Pico and 11 miles from Killington ski areas. Great restaurants are just 3 miles down the road in Rutland. Shop in our store and bakery, stroll our orchard and visit the chickens, all while enjoying some spectacular views. Get to know our free-range chickens and ducks, whose coops are next door to your house. The two downstairs bedrooms - one with a full bed and the other with two twin beds - share a full bathroom. The upstairs bedroom - with a full bed, not only has amazing views of the orchard, but also a full bath and AC. The house has a full kitchen with a Keurig, living room, dining room, and small back porch. We are family friendly with easy access to our pool in the summer. The in-ground pool is semi-private, shared only with my family. Pack-n-play and other baby necessities available. Pet friendly, with prior arrangement. We have a fenced in yard for your pooch. Please bring a crate for your dog if you plan to leave them alone in the house. Even the best behaved dogs can act out when left alone in a strange place. Cable TV, Roku, and Wifi Enjoy our lovely built-in pool in the summer Except for the attic, basement, and a storage room off the dining room, the whole house is yours to enjoy. We live in the big farmhouse next door, where we also have our store and bakery, so we are just a few steps or a phone call away. We are right on RT 4 in Mendon - between Rutland and Killington - so access to everything is easy. The house is set close to the road. We don't notice it, but road-noise may be an issue for you.
