Bookings commence on Fridays for seven nights due to staffing availability. Shorter breaks may be available out of high season. Please enquire. There are two double and two twin rooms, all en-suite, on the first floor. One double on the ground floor has a private bathroom. A modern single folding bed is also available making eleven sleeping places in total. Two soft cots are also available. All double beds are king-size or larger. Two bedrooms have full-sized baths as well as shower facilities. The sitting room has ample seating on five sofas and the separate dining room seats twelve at a large Devonshire table. The ground floor is accessible for wheelchair users, please ask for details. The house is fully centrally heated with a wood-burning fire in the sitting room for the colder months. There is a TV in all bedrooms most with a DVD player and a smart 42 inch TV and DVD player in the sitting-room. The stereo and radio player in the sitting room is switchable to the sitting room, dining room, kitchen, and patio as required. Towels and hairdryers are provided in all bedrooms. The large kitchen is fully equipped with two dishwashers, a tumble drier, a commercial microwave, and a washing machine in the utility area. There is also a back kitchen area overlooking the rear lawn and patio with sliding doors and a table and chairs for up to six people. The three rooms with a double bed and the two rooms with twin beds cannot be re-arranged. A folding single is available for the eleventh bed space. Limekiln is located in an elevated position between East Chaldon and Winfrith Newburgh and 4 miles from Lulworth Cove car park. The house is 250 yards from the lane along a bridleway with unrestricted access for cars to the house. There are no neighbours or traffic nearby, making the house and garden very peaceful. The house overlooks a rural valley with views across Dorset. The bridleway continues past the house through peaceful grass valleys and fields to the Jurassic Coast near Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove, less than an hour's walk or by car in just over 5 minutes. Gravel car parking for about six cars. The one-acre garden is mainly terraced lawns enclosed by trees and hedges offering privacy. The house is set among farmland used for growing cereals plus sheep and cattle grazing. Deer, badgers, rabbits, foxes, and birds frequent the area and garden. It's the perfect place to relax on the patio or in a reclining chair on a lawn. Safe for children and pets. The local thatched pub, the Sailor's Return, is a half-mile from the house along the lane, serving excellent meals and a fine selection of local ales and spirits. Children and dogs are welcomed. Large car park and secluded grass beer-garden. Ideal location for exploring Lulworth Cove, Monkey World, the Tank Museum, the Jurassic Coast, Durdle Door, and the Purbecks. The seaside town of Weymouth and the county town of Dorchester are both about ten miles away.
