The farmhouse has the Maltese name "Tal-Bjar'. Situated in the small tranquil village of San Lawrenz, on the Island of Gozo, this marvelous villa/ farmhouse is truly one of a kind. The property, acquired in 2004, was converted from its derelict state, to a villa / farmhouse of the highest standard, keeping the property’s original and traditional charm whilst responding to modern needs. The intention was and will always be, to offer those travelers looking for a peaceful and relaxing holiday on the magical Island of Gozo, a home away from home. The villa / farmhouse consists of 4 bedrooms (sleeps 8+), all with ceiling fans and enjoying an en-suite bathroom/ shower room . All 4 bedrooms come equipped with air-conditioners that function on a pay- per- use card system. All rooms are flooded with natural light and are very airy. The villa / farmhouse boasts stunning sea and country views, right from the pool deck, kitchen and 3 of its 4 bedrooms. Furthermore, the early and late summer months offer spectacular sunsets right opposite these viewpoints. The fully equipped spacious kitchen with island and living room conveniently overlook the private pool, outdoor dining and BBQ area. The indoor dining area, suitably just off the kitchen, comfortably sits 8 people. For further practicality, there is a spare toilet both inside and next to pool. The outdoors consists of a good sized private overflow pool with an open Jacuzzi, BBQ, a large teak outdoor dining table and teak loungers, adequate shading and pool shower. Moreover, the villa/ farmhouse is located just a short walk/ drive away from Gozo’s most popular attraction, the Azure Window at Dwejra bay. The property is handily also within walking distance from minimarkets and restaurants. Great emphasis is placed on the property’s cleanliness when handed over and that the guests are also attended to appropriately during their stay. The owners choose to personally welcome guests themselves and show them around the house on arrival. The property undergoes thorough maintenance during the lesser busy periods, and improvements are made on a yearly basis in order to continue to raise the quality of the time that guests choose to spend at Tal-Bjar.
