The house built in 1870 has been totally renovated in 2007, respecting its original character. Privileged location with lots of light. The house, with a garden and 2 different oriented terraces, allows you to sunbathe all the day. The house has excellent thermal insulation and each room has air conditioning and heating Smart TV by internet with channels in several languages. (Netflix, YouTube, etc.). REMOTE WORKING. The house is also ideal for remote work. Free WIFI Internet 600MB by Optical fiber. ADSL: See screenshot in the picture section. 1 router on each floor. Each room has a work table. During your stay we will be installed in a village in the center of Mallorca located 30 minutes from Capdepera. We will be at your disposal in case of any problem or if you need information by phone or What’sApp. We can drive to Capdepera if necessary. The neighbourhood The neighbourhood is quiet with Majorcan and foreign neighbours that we consider as friends. The house is located in the center of the medieval village of Capdepera, in the protected area of the Castle. The area is very quiet and safe. 2 minutes walking from the house you will find the "Orient" square: market on Wednesdays, there are cafes, restaurants, small supermarket. How to move It is easy to find parking very close to the house (safe and free). Public transport.: Bus and trains (See TIB Mallorca) Walking: the nearest beach is a 15–20-minute walk. Cycling. By taxi: A journey from Capdepera to the beaches of Cala Ratjada costs 6 to 7 euros. Car rental: Most of our guests rent a car. VARIOUS Most of the holiday homes in the area are designed only for the summer season. It is not the case of this property in which we have lived for more than 10 years. The house is also equipped for the winter season; thermal insulation, double glazing, duvets, heating in each room and fireplace in the living room. Possibility of ordering firewood. . Activities: beaches, tennis, hiking, four nearby golf courses, bicycle rental (29 routes), diving and snorkelling, horse riding, indoor municipal swimming pool. Gastronomy, nautical activities, cultural visits, markets, museums etc. At 1000 meters from house is the neighbourhood of Cala Ratjada and its fishing port: beaches, restaurants, bars and nightlife. All the appliances in the house are new or in very good condition. Bed linen, towels and basic kitchen products included. Pets that do not create problems are welcome. All rooms are equipped with hairdryer and mirror. There are health centers in the village and 3 hospitals (public and private) within a radius of 40 kilometres. IMPORTANT TIPS WHEN PREPARING YOUR VACATION ETV LICENSE. For your peace of mind and to protect yourself from any unpleasant surprises, it is recommended not to rent a property without an Official License. A licensed property is distinguished by its ETV (Holiday Tourism Establishment) followed by four digits you will find in the description of the properties. We recommend to choose one of the many properties that are provided with an ETV license. In the absence of this license, the Law establishes “the temporary suspension of the activity of the company or of the professional exercise or the temporary closure of the establishment may be imposed”. CAR RENTAL There are a lot of car rental companies in the airport and prices can vary considerably from company to company. We recommend being aware of the conditions when reserving a vehicle. We have received disappointed visitors who felt cheated by the rental companies. The main complaints were about the fuel policy, significant unannounced additional costs and endless lines at the counter. We recommend that you be extremely careful when making a reservation online and avoid the Firefly and Record GO companies.
