Lovingly restored and renovated to a high standard, the apartment is situated on the first floor of this early 17th century town house.The rooms are light, spacious and airy with large windows looking onto the ramparts of the Château Royal of Amboise. Ideally situated in the picturesque heart of the town, it is just a few moments stroll to excellent restaurants, cafés, shops and market. Totally self-contained and independent, the apartment has a large living/dining room with high ceilings, fully equipped modern kitchen and 2 bedrooms, one with kingsize bed and the other with twin beds, each with their own en-suite shower room. Everything is prepared ready for your arrival - beds are made up and fluffy white towels and toiletries are provided. The kitchen is fully equipped with large fridge, induction hob, dishwasher and washing machine. We have tried to combine modern fittings with the old existing features to provide a striking yet homely feel! There is free wi-fi throughout the property, along with television & DVD player. The Royal Château, the Clos Lucé and Château Gaillard are all within easy walking distance, while Amboise offers the perfect base for visiting the Chateaux of the Loire and local vineyards. It's difficult to find a better base, as Amboise is perfectly situated in the very heart of the Loire Valley. The main jewels are all within easy striking distance - Château de Chenonceau, Chambord, Villandry and Chaumont are all nearby. Amboise is also situated on the Loire à Vélo cycle route which provides fantastic opportunities for traffic-free cycling in the area.
