This historic home has been updated and is comfortable and homey, although it is not child-friendly as a historic home. We follow CDC sanitizing guidelines. Within walking distance of historic downtown Madison, the river walk, historic sites, restaurants, festivals, shopping, wineries, brewery, community pool and more. Enjoy the screened back porch and courtyard. Each bedroom has a T.V. and luxurious bedding. Original paintings, renovated, equipped kitchen with Keurig/standard coffeemaker. You have the complete home to yourself, courtyard and carport behind the home with access from the alley. There is also a screened in back porch with a ceiling fan to enjoy. There are security cameras on the exterior ONLY of this home. This home is not appropriate for small children due to it being a historic home. There’s a side yard and courtyard to enjoy. Carport is behind the house with access from the alley. There is also street parking in the front. We are available if you need anything. Otherwise, you will have complete privacy. The neighborhood is in the heart of the downtown historic district. Within walking distance of anything you need or want to do. Just walking in town is a wonderful way to spend your time by viewing the beautiful homes and architecture. You will be able to walk to most attractions downtown. We’re 1 block from Main St. and 1 block from the river. If you want to rent a golf cart, it is legal to drive them on the roads downtown except for Main St. Here is a link to rentals: (Website hidden by Airbnb) and Acree Alleycat cart rentals. Trolley and carriage rides thru the Visit Madison website. The full bathroom is upstairs with the bedrooms. The water pressure in the shower sometimes is lower. We occasionally experience this in the older homes in the historic district. There is a half bath downstairs. There are security cameras ONLY on the exterior of this home. We comply with CDC recommended guidelines for cleaning. This house is not appropriate for children.
