A unique, artist influenced space to relax, get inspired or get some work done. A 5000 sq. ft. big wide open shared space in a repurposed factory building. Artist Loft has 5 listings. This is our 3rd listing with one sofa bed good for a single traveler or a couple. Artist Loft is...—in Historic Downtown Salisbury, near shops, cafes and bars, and museums—our home where we host guests—our studio where we work and create art—a 5000 sf on second floor of a repurposed bread factory—a big wide open shared space where you stay in our home with us—where we offer gentle presence and engagement but are always respectful of your privacy—where for privacy, beds are sectioned by walls and curtains without doors—where we, the hosts, are in our own quarters far from guests—an artist influenced space in which to relax, be inspired or get some work done—large enough to hold a small conference, event or party - talk to us about it. Guests can use the kitchen and all kitchen appliances. Guests have their own bathroom which they may share with other guests, hosts use a different bathroom. We have washer and dryer for your laundry needs. There are couches and chairs everywhere in common areas for you to get comfortable in to enjoy a book, chatting, use WiFi to connect or watch TV. We have furnitures and space if you want to set up an office. For access to conference facility, event or party space, please make prior arrangements. You’ll have a key to come in and out as you please. We are available by phone or text. Don’t hesitate to contact us for anything. We go about doing our work in the studios and you are welcomed to interact with us. We keep things quiet until we get in the kitchen to eat or snacks, then conversations starts. Kitchen is usually where interactions happen. At night we usually confine ourselves in the master bedroom. We live in beautiful historic downtown Salisbury that takes pride in its history, architectures, diversity of peoples, boutique shops, variety of cuisines, museums and art galleries. Entire historic downtown Salisbury is easily accessible by foot. Our place, EastSquare Artworks, is right in the middle of downtown and a convenient walking distance to many services. Half mile and more away are chain stores and restaurants accessible by car or local bus. 2 blocks from us is the Amtrak Train Station (SAL) directly connecting major North Carolina cities, the South and the Northeast. Greensboro PTI Airport (GSO) and Charlotte Douglas Airport (CLT) are both 50 minutes away which are accessible by combinations of mass transits but more conveniently by taxi or ride share. Salisbury is an historic town, steeped in Civil War History as well as Colonial History. Over the years it has also become an art town with locally created arts and crafts.
