Perfect Bay and Beach Getaway one hour from DC!

Our waterfront home with sweeping views of the Chesapeake Bay is close to beaches, the Flag Harbor Marina, Solomon's Island, Flag Pond Nature Preserve and Calvert Cliffs State Park. You’ll love the spectacular sunrises/sunsets over the Bay, diving ospreys and eagles, and exploring the bay by kayak, canoe, or paddle board. Our house is great for families (with kids), groups, and well-mannered dogs (with approval). New in 2021: living room chair and dishwasher Our house sits on stilts above the Bay, and the views and sounds of water surround you. Our open kitchen and dining area is great for large dinners with family and friends. We have 3 master bedrooms, each with a full en suite bathroom, plus two additional bedrooms (1 full bed, 1 w/ bunk beds) with a shared bathroom, and a downstairs powder room. We have 2 kayaks, 1 canoe, and 1 paddle-board for adventures around the Bay! We also have a large yard protected by a seawall and space under the house to hide from the midday sun or lounge in a hammock. Long Beach has a private community beach for residents a short walk down the road, and a larger beach on the north side of the marina. We provide 2 Long Beach parking passes to guests. The Long Beach association offers water access via easements every 3 to 4 houses marked by beach street signs. We offer guest support via the AirBnB application, and answer all questions as quickly as possible. Our guests love our communication and we have an excellent host track record (Superhosts) on AirBnB. We are always available to respond to guests via the AirBnB application, and commit to happy guest visits. Please send messages with questions or concerns. Long Beach is our favorite block on the Western Shore. Quiet and laid back, with friendly neighbors and a lovely community beach. Our street dead-ends a few houses down at Flag Pond Nature Preserve, with abundant wildlife - ospreys, bald eagles, turtles, and schools of cownose rays that migrate up from the Caribbean. We have blue crabs in the water under the deck and heron frequently fish! Avoid the Bay Bridge! Our house is an easy 50 miles down Route 4 from DC. Enjoy!!
