Family Friendly, Trampoline, Walk to Everything

Our newly renovated and modern daylight basement is located in the beautiful, historic Willamette District in downtown West Linn. It is an ideal space for families and friends equipped with a full, spacious kitchen, a home theater, washer/dryer, full bath and two separate bedrooms. Outside, there is a private patio, a large, enclosed trampoline, a garden and a park-like backyard. It's a very comfortable and spacious environment both inside and out. Guest access Guests can access the space on their own through a combination code on the door. We know how much stuff you have to prepare for travel especially with kids. We are happy to offer a pack-n-play, books, toys, car seats, and strollers for your use while you are here. Just let us know what you'd like. Also, we have a backyard slide, lots of outdoor toys, and a large, enclosed trampoline to occupy your kids in our backyard. We are also walking distance to two parks with playground equipment as well. You'll have access to your own private kitchen, washer/dryer, and guest retreat with two private bedrooms, a home theater and living area, and outside patio. The main backyard space is shared with us but let us know if you'd like the privacy of having it to yourself and we can accommodate. We are available to socialize and have very outgoing kids but are also very respectful of your space if you'd like your own private time. We are located in the historic district of the Old Willamette neighborhood. It's a quaint neighborhood with tree lined streets, beautiful historic homes, friendly neighbors, and a small town feel. It's also a fun and festive place to be with a variety of activities and places for all ages to enjoy. From the suite, you can walk just a stone's throw down the hill to beautiful Willamette Park and the junction of the Willamette and Tualatin rivers. Along the river, you can paddle board, kayak, boat, hike, ride bikes, or just stroll down the river path and view wildlife. Kids will love the playground with the splash pad (open during summer months) and feeding the ducks. During the summer months, Willamette Park hosts many events and festivals including music and movies in the park, concerts, fireworks for the 4th of July, and the annual Old Time Fair complete with carnival rides, water ski shows, concerts, and lots of fun kid activities. The City of West Linn puts on an amazing fireworks show at the park that draws people from all over to attend. Our block turns into a grand party being so close to the show. Walk the other direction from the suite a few blocks and you'll be on the main street filled with coffee shops, bars, restaurants, and novelty stores. There's often live music playing at one of the various restaurants on the main street. A weekly summertime favorite is the Farmer's market which occurs every Wednesday evening from 4-7pm. Drive for a couple minutes from our place and you'll find a nice selection of small farms with fresh vegetables and fruit to purchase, animals to visit with, specialty foods, and unique decorative items for sale. We are close to many farms where you can pick your own produce including blueberries, strawberries, and cherries. Furthermore, tucked within the farm loop are some of the finest wineries in the region that offer daily tastings, events, and great views of Mt Hood and surrounding farmlands. We have a lot of favorites here so please don't hesitate to ask us for suggestions. If you plan to stay in the neighborhood, you do not need a car but if you'd like to go into Portland, go wine tasting or explore the beautiful Gorge, a car is definitely recommended. We do have bikes you can borrow (two with small kid seats attached) if you'd like to explore the area by bike which is highly recommended. I also host a farm fruit tour through Airbnb experience.
