Six blocks from the Michigan State University campus in a lovely tree-lined neighborhood. Queen size bed in room with antiques. You will have use of the formal living room. Parking in the driveway. Arrangements can be made to use the kitchen. A full breakfast will be served every morning by your hostess. Charming older home furnished with antiques. Many of the antiques are family heirlooms. Very comfortable bed. Down comforters for year round comfort. House has central air conditioning and used when the weather necessitates it. You can easily open windows for fresh air when desired. Hardwood floors throughout the house. The house was built in the late 1920's, and the bedrooms are on the second floor, so you must be able to walk up and down stairs comfortably. You will have access to the formal living room (with fireplace). Arrangements can be made for limited use of the kitchen. I'll be present when you stay as this is my primary residence. I work from home, so I am available to answer questions about MSU or the Greater Lansing community whenever you need answers. This is a wonderful old neighborhood in close proximity to the MSU campus. Only one mile to the football stadium, about seven blocks to the Broad Art Museum. The Wharton Center, and downtown East Lansing. Perfect place to stay if you are bringing your student to visit and tour the campus, or if you are coming to visit your student, or if you are coming to East Lansing to attend a conference at MSU. Also close for the annual art festival and the Great Lakes Folk Festival, and other various local festivals. Bus stop six blocks away on Grand River that will take you downtown Lansing and the Capitol Building or out to Meridian Mall and Meijer (grocery/big box store). There is also a bicycle available for use by guests. I can pick you up from the Michigan Flyer or Lansing Airport if it helps you out -- at no extra charge. I am a lifetime resident of East Lansing and am happy to recommend restaurants and other entertainment venues. If you are coming for a football weekend, please plan on staying for two nights.
