Little Lake House, the Bungalow

Cozy up during your next trip to southern New Hampshire! The Little Lake house, situated right next to a serene lake, boasted luxury and spectacular water views. It's a perfect place for a peaceful escape or chance to experience the wide variety of seasonal New England activities from swimming and leaf peeping to ice fishing. The Little Lake house is a short drive to Canobie Lake Park and Manchester Airport, and about an hour to Boston, the NH Seacoast, NH Lakes Region and the White mountains. The Little Lakehouse, Bungalow (one story) boasts luxurious comfort, spectacular water views through its walls of windows, a charming oak and granite kitchen, smart TVs, Sonos surround sound and living room speakers, plenty of comfy places to sit, new mattresses, weighted blankets for a peaceful rest, a back deck with outdoor furniture (seasonal), propane fire table and grill, and water access. The Little Lake house is one of two completely separate lakehouses on one lot. This one is a one-story house and the other is a two-story house. Though each has its own deck with seasonal furniture, propane fire table and grill, the yard is shared space between the two with hot tub, paddle boat and kayaks available for use. These lakehouses are part of a very close lakefront community. It is extremely important that neighbors are respected and sound is limited outside after 9pm or inside if windows are open. Watching the weather roll in across the lake or wildlife play while nestled in a comfy chair is a favorite pastime. The Bungalow is a perfect place for a getaway weekend with friends, couples retreats, or a family vacation. It is NOT a good place for parties, loud groups, or large groups. This bright and airy, open concept house has everything you need for your stay. There are two bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen with a dining table/living room with a sunroom/sitting area. There is a couch with a pullout queen mattress and memory foam topper. The first bedroom has a king-size bed, and the second bedroom has two full-size bunk beds, both with sitting areas. We have tried to give attention to detail-- even the top bunkbed has a nightstand tray with power cord. The bathroom has a tub/shower with strong water pressure and a stack-able washer/dryer. The kitchen has a gas stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, large refrigerator/freezer, toaster, tea kettle, coffee maker as well as a variety of cookware. There is a large table with a built-in insert that can pull out to comfortably accommodate your water-view meals. There is limited off-street parking, 3 dedicated spaces for each house. Guests will have sole access to the house, their own deck and shared use of the yard and water access. Our desire is to meet our guests in person, but the space is designed for easy access if this is not possible. We provide our guests with our cell number and will do our best to answer questions, give recommendations for the area, and make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Shawn’s place is located in Derry, New Hampshire, United States. Within a 5 minute drive, the quaint main street has plenty of good restaurants, coffee shops, wine and cheese shop, antique and thrift stores, convenient store, ice cream stand, a public Library with a park, and a country club with a 9 hole golf course. In the summer, there are weekly free concerts in the park and a farmer’s market. In the winter, the backyard is the entrance to a snowshoeing or ice fishing adventure and not far from New England skiing. Lyft and Uber effectively service our area and allow you to access everything you need in a short drive. This Lake House is part of a very close, quiet lakefront community. It is extremely important that neighbors are respected and sound is limited outside after 9pm or inside if windows are open. Parties, loud groups or large groups (over 8 people) are NOT welcome. Please be careful when pulling out of the driveway. The neighbor across the street from us has a stone wall about 8-12" high across the front of his property. This can be hard to notice, so I am pointing it out so that you don't damage his wall or your car. Please drive very slowly 5MPH down these roads.
