We live in the house on the upper level and there will likely be other guests in the house, especially on weekends. You have full use of the house, kitchen farm and patio and the farm grounds. This location is about 15 miles from Athens and is great if you are visiting the area for a game weekend. We have Wifi but no television in that this a quiet and peaceful place where you can rest and relax and heal. Guests have access to: - the entire Farm house - kitchen -great room -porch, deck and patio -swimming pool (when it's open) -animals and pastures -garden -blueberry patch Corriedale Farm Bed and Breakfast is 12 acre working farm located in rural Jackson County, Georgia. The Farm is located 4 miles from downtown Jefferson and 16 miles from Athens and UGA. Driving distance from Atlanta Hartsfield Airport is 74 miles.We are a gateway to north Georgia, located less than 17 miles from the walkable college center of downtown Athens…..within an hour from Atlanta, great kayaking, and waterfall hikes…..with easy access to I-85, just 25 miles from vineyards and wineries…..and less than 2 miles from the historic Shields-Etheridge Farm along a shady gravel road perfect for jogging or bicycling. Our B&B is your base for reaching everything from live music to farmer’s markets to outdoor adventures and then to rejuvenate. There is no public transportation other than a local taxi. At times, you can get Uber or Lyft when they have cars available but do not count on it. BREAKFAST: BREAKFAST IS SERVED ONLY ON WEEKENDS BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT AT A COST OF $10 PER PERSON. POOL NOTES: THE POOL OPENS MEMORIAL DAY OF EACH YEAR AND CLOSES OCTOBER 1st. THERE IS NO LIFEGUARD ON AT DUTY AT ANY TIME. CHILDREN MAY ONLY USE THE POOL IF THEIR PARENTS ARE PRESENT. ALL POOL USERS SWIM AT THEIR OWN RISK.
