Invitation to take a garden tour and have a hands on experience in the garden - The garden is the home of a food program in which the vegetables get sold every week at the local Saturday Farmers market. Produce and Eggs: Are available year round depending on the season for the variety of vegetables. Some of the Local Art hanging on the wall in the Suite is for sell. I have tried to furnish and offer as much local products as possible and have left the cards and information for your to purchase. The Bath Shampoo, Conditioner and Body Wash comes from Island Naturals, is locally sourced and created by my friend Scott, in Mill Bay. The bedding and Bath products come from Duncan's Rest House Speciality store, located downtown Duncan. You will have your own parking space and light up path way for when you arrive at night, the space will be heated and waiting for you. You can use the patio and outdoor patio and chairs, picnic benches in the garden and walk around the land to visit the chickens, the orchard, the cats and other parts of the property. I enjoy sharing my special places to go to on the island and in the area. I am always happy to share with my guests and help them have the best time they can have. I will have a little book in the suite with restaurant suggestions, and hikes, biking trails ( we have bikes to rent as well ), swim holes, funky places to visist, wild museums, speciality tea and art farm, and more -- there is so much to visit., farm to table restaurants, vineyards with great food, live music venues, theatre, etc... Come and Visit - !! We live up past the hospital, it is easy to get to from town, yet feels like you are far removed. Ideal for working vacation, where you need to go to town for work, or work at the hospital for a few weeks. It is also ideal as a get away, or a mountain bike trip, or a kayak trip, or when you want to go for walks on near by trails. There is a private parking spot just for the air bnb. You can walk to town from here in about 20 - 30 mins, it's about 5 mins by car. There is a local bus that stops at the top of the driveway. There are also bikes here you can rent to use during your stay.
