Creekside Retreat with Hot Tub & BBQ @ Burt Dam

Experience the American side of Niagara Falls and Lake Ontario like a local! You'll enjoy a restful sleep in our two bedroom apartment in a rustic countryside home across from a thriving farm market, 500 ft from Burt Dam, and just minutes from Olcott Beach, the Niagara Wine Trail, and world-famous fishing along Eighteen Mile Creek. Niagara Falls is just half an hour away, not to mention the Buffalo metropolitan area. End your day with a barbecue or a dip in the hot tub on our back deck. Enjoy! Guests will have access to the right-hand two-bedroom apartment unit, with their own private entrance, in a rustic countryside home. The back deck, also private, has a barbecue and hot tub. The middle unit is occupied by Chuck, our relative and handyman. The apartment is completely private for guest privacy, but help is never far away! Guests may use the back patio and gas grill, but please do not move the grill, for safety reasons. You may use the hot tub at your own risk. There is currently no laundry on site, but Newfane Laundromat is only 6 minutes away at 6181 McKee Street. Guests will check themselves in and out, but we (Lisa & Ed) live nearby if anything is needed. Chuck, our relative and handyman, lives in the adjacent apartment unit. The town of Newfane, including the hamlets of Burt and Olcott Beach, is home to a wealth of wildlife, sports, and culture. We have world-famous fishing, award-winning wineries, and an abundance of local shops and small town charm, just a short drive from major tourist attractions around Niagara Falls and Buffalo. We recommend having a personal vehicle or rental car, since public transport in the rural areas of upstate New York is limited. Please note that this property is on the American (United States) side of Niagara Falls and Lake Ontario. Upstate New York is primarily rural, so public transport and some cell service networks might be limited. A private vehicle is recommended and caution is encouraged when driving in inclement weather.
