Beautiful getaway! Stay in our woodland cottage, close to many fun places to visit. Feel free to wander around the gardens. There are two twin beds in the bedroom and a pull out twin in the living room. Close to Jonesborough (20min), famous historic town known for storytelling events, Friday night music on the square and garden tours. A great place to visit. Also near Bristol TN/VA (25min), home of Rhythm & Roots Festival, and Country Music History Museum, and Bristol Motor Speedway NASCAR (35min). Not too far from Abingdon VA (45min), home of Barter Theater and Heartwood Appalachian Artisan Gallery. Downtown Johnson City home of the Blue Plum Music Festival, Tupulo Honey and Yee Haw Brewery (20min). You will have your own parking area and key. Arrival can be coordinated at anytime. For the most part, we just let you do your thing. We are in the woods. Bugs are not much of an issue. If the porch light is on, it will attract them. You may see bunnies, deer and chipmunks galore. A car is a must. There it is very difficult to bike or walk to the main road safely. We are on a quiet wooded singe lane road with six other houses. The drive in is rustic Appalachian. Once you are here, you are surrounded by trees. You may here some lake traffic, but at night, the crickets are the loudest noise!
