D Street at Downtown - your Exeter, CA retreat

Welcome to D Street at Downtown! Walk one block south and you're in the heart of this town that we love so much. Restaurants, shops, and murals - we've got you covered! Have you come to explore the majestic trees that make up Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks? We're just 28 miles away from the south entrance of Sequoia National Park. At D, we want you to feel at home while you're here. Our goal is to provide you with a comfy and welcoming abode that will enhance your travel experience. D St. at Downtown was built in the 1930's and was recently restored to it's NEW glory in January of 2019. From the floors to the furniture, we have put much love and thought into creating a space that we hope you'll love to come to after a full day of fun. Little extras that we hope you'll enjoy: Living room: - ROKU television streaming with free access to Netflix and Amazon Prime Dining Room: - Yummies including a complimentary bottle of wine, breakfast/snack bars, popcorn and chips, tea, ground coffee and a variety of k-cups. - Small kitchen appliances including a toaster over, toaster, mini refrigerator, electric kettle, Keurig, French press, and microwave. Kitchen: -All of the cooking utensils you would need to whip up some meals and dinnerware to serve it. -A brand new gas stove. -A Breville espresso machine for our coffee enthusiasts Reading room (Living room #2) -A relaxing space with comfortable furniture where you can unwind and cuddle up with a good book or just kick back and reeeeelax! Bathroom: Extra towels, hair dryer, shampoo/conditioner, body lotion, and other toiletries that you may have forgotten along the way :-) Bedrooms: Closets to hang clothing, extra blankets and pillows, and an iron/ ironing board Here’s what ya got at D Street at Downtown: -The amazing wrap-around porch. It's perfect for morning coffee-sitting and sunrise-watching or evening gathering to enjoy each other’s company :) -Living room -Dining room -Reading Room -Bathroom -2 Bedrooms -Kitchen -Breakfast nook Most of the time we're available to meet and would love to say hello however, it's totally up to you! If you'd like to meet, simply shoot us a message through the app. If our schedules align, we'll come by and greet you on your porch :-) Welcome to small town America! Spend a day or two here and you may just find yourself feeling like one of the family :-) The neighborhood is very special. Your neighbors are kind, friendly folks and the neighborhood is safe. You may see lots of action in the morning during the weekday (being that the home is located on a corner lot) with kids walking to school and cars buzzing from here to there, but the town goes to sleep early and the weekends are quiet and peaceful. D. St. at Downtown is located within a block's walking distance to many shops and eateries. From the world's best donuts to all-American burgers, shakes, and fries to upscale French restaurants, you'll find ample options to satisfy your hunger. If you just want to peruse the town, we have lots of antique shops and home stores to peek in and plenty of shops that offer unique, local products to take home with you as souvenirs. The best way to get around is by car, door, or bike.
