Located approximately half way between Nanaimo and Victoria on the interior (drier) side of Vancouver Island facing Salt Spring Island, it is immersed in a lush rainforest which turns to a comfortable temperate area in the summer months. Sheltered by Mount Tzouhalem, Genoa Bay is a short picturesque drive from the convenience of Duncan but has the ambience a remote Gulf island experience. Genoa Bay itself is a quaint seaside village with 25 homes, a marina and a well reviewed and popular cafe.
