This 3-bedroom, mid-century modern, family-friendly cottage is less than a mile from the village of Lewiston and just a 10-minute drive to Niagara Falls. Come enjoy this comfortable, well-appointed cottage. It offers air conditioning to escape hot summer days, and an electric fireplace to warm you on cool nights. The private backyard patio has a gas grill and fire pit so you can enjoy the great outdoors. Its location and warm vibe will make you want to stay even longer than you planned! The cottage is spacious but cozy. It is built on a hill and backs into a wooded area, which offers privacy and quiet combined with close proximity to the bustling hamlet of Lewiston. There are two TVs--one in the family room (or "Lodge Room") and one in the largest bedroom. High-speed Wifi works well, even on the back patio. The Lodge Room is an A-frame-shaped room with a 15-foot ceiling and paneled with Adirondack knotty pine. It has a retro feel, but we've added some modern touches to bring it up to date. Guests tell us they love hanging out here. There is also a full basement, which has a full laundry and a very basic half bath. The basement is not finished, but the extra space can be handy, especially since there is only one full bath upstairs. There is a small attached garage, which you are welcome to use. Bigger cars and SUVs would likely be tight in the space. The driveway is on an incline, but there is a turnaround and plenty of space on flat land for 2-3 cars. Some guests have parked boats with trailers in the driveway, but the hill can make navigation to the street tricky. Guests have the whole house to themselves. No one else lives on the premises. My mother, Sue Ann, is local--5 minutes away. She is very responsive if you need something during your stay. During periods of social distancing, we will be using self-check-in procedures, which are in the "Guest Resources" section of the listing. Once you are a confirmed guest, you have access to that information.
