Hudson Riverview Retreat

Our home was established in 1900, on the Hudson river. The front porch is perfect for boat watching, dreamy naps & the moon rise is a beauty. Our little hamlet is surrounded by cool destinations. Hudson,Olana,Woodstock & Catskill Point wedding venue. Your bedroom is on the second floor of our home, just next to the bathroom. You will find a comfy full-sized bed, plenty of storage and cozy terrycloth bath robes. We are a working household, still getting up to go to work in the morning. Upon arrival, come up the drive, park by the shed. You'll come in through the side door of the kitchen. It's a gathering place so feel free to come and go as you please. We have a lovely front porch and back patio/garden area to spend some chill time. Our guests set the pace. Your privacy is always respected. If we are home and hanging out, you are welcome to join us. Our home sits on the West Bank of the Hudson River in the historic district of New Baltimore. We overlook the Shady Harbor Marina, a walk down the hill to the Boathouse Grille Restaurant. Take a hike to the waterfalls on the Interpretive trail. Antiques, farm markets, and all the leaf peeping you can handle. A short walk Cornell Park where you can put your feet or kayak in the Hudson River. We are 25 min south of the Albany-Rens. Amtrak station and 35 min north-west of Hudson station. A car or motorbike are your friends. ( just a thought, text us ahead of your visit for possible pick up or drop off at the train station if we are available for a small percentage of a standard taxi ride. Current taxi rates are 46$ from Albany and 56$ from Hudson. (it may be possible to pick you up from the train station if our schedules coincide, for a petrol fee of 20$) .
