Due to extreme cold, the camp does not have running water. Modern cabin w/power, water. 3 bunk beds in one large bedroom,sleeps 6. Outside firepit. Miles of woods via logging roads to explore moose, deer, bird watching, hunting. Fishing for trout bass/perch. Guided hunting, fishing, and canoeing available, ponds and rivers. Canoes maybe available. X skiing and snowshoeing Trail from camp to ITS snowmobile trail 1/2 mile. Bed linen/light blanket provided. Towels not provided this is a traditional modern northern Maine hunting camp, with the conveniences of power, running water and heat. IT has a short driveway off of a paved rd that makes it easy accessible for cars and is open year round, with x country sking and snowshoeing as well as a trail to ITS trail for snowmobiles. Entire camp. Woods out back Snowmobile trail to ITS trails I try to give my guests suggestions and advice on what is available to do depending on the season, about being safe in the woods and any rules they may not be aware of, but it there stay /vacation and they decide if they hike or canoe or just sit back and relax. Lots of woods is the season to enjoy watching moose and fishing for smallmouth bass is extent in June and July as well as canoeing and kayaking some of the waterways in the area. no public transportation but i do offer a shuttle service for canoeing or kayaking for day trips on the river or nearby streams We do not have good cell service at camp but with a short drive they should be able to connect.
