"Bear Mountain Lodge"on Susquehanna River, PA Wild

Beautiful log home on the river, 10 min from downtown Lock Haven and situated along the Bucktail Scenic Byway. This luxury cabin has incredible views of the river&mountains from every room, with a large deck overlooking it all. Master bedroom on main floor w/private bath. Two bedrooms upstairs w/queen bed & twin sleeper. On the River- Water Ski, Swim, Canoe/Kayak, Float. etc. In the Yard- enjoy a gazebo, fire pit & games Nearby- walking, hiking and bike trails; Williamsport and State College The main living area of cabin is yours! The basement is private residence, most of the time it is left empty though. Fully equipped kitchen, outdoor grill, laundry room, Wi-Fi, TV, and so much more. In the house, there are plenty of games to sit around and enjoy with the family or sit out on the large deck and take in nature. There is a private boat ramp and a dock on the property. The dock is in the water from mid-May through the end of September. The river stretch is unique- a mile long span that is plenty deep to run a jet ski, boat, and water ski, etc. The mile stretch turns shallow at both ends providing the small community a near private water park. A canoe and kayak (with life jackets) are available to enjoy the entire river. Enjoy screened gazebo equipped with table & chairs, relax sitting around a fire pit (chairs available) and play lawn games (bocce ball, croquet, badminton & more available...) Hosts will respond within two hours if concerns come up. Hosts do not live nearby but will be able to help solve any issues via phone. The house is located in a quaint small river community on a private drive, with gorgeous views of the river, and mountains, and occasionally trains come through. In Downtown Lock Haven there is beautiful 4.5 mile river walk round trip (Lock Haven Levee Trail), nice restaurants, and a summer concert series on the river. 10 minutes from Downtown Lock Haven and Lock Haven University. 45 minutes from Williamsport, Little League Baseball. 45 minutes from Penn State. Public transportation is not available, as far as hosts know, if you bring a car Downtown parking is available.
