Full service kitchen with fridge, stove, Keurig, toaster oven, cookware, dishes and utensils. Close to shopping, restaurants, Altoona Hospital, Penn State Altoona, Bland Park, Horseshoe Curve, Canoe Creek, 40 minutes to Penn State University Park, 30 minutes to Blue Knob Ski Resort. 2 miles to I 99 and US 22. Private apartment with private entrance. One bedroom, bathroom with tub/shower combo, family room, kitchen and patio with table and chairs. The bedroom has a queen size bed with a memory foam mattress. 2 sets of sheets, blackout curtains and an outlet with an usb charger built in next to the bed. (Website hidden by Airbnb) Bathroom is supplied with plenty of towels, hair dryer and a first aid kit. The family room has a large flat screen tv with an amazon firestick and access to Hulu and Hulu Live. Games puzzles and adult coloring books and extra blankets. Weather permitting there is a table with chairs on the private patio where you can enjoy a quiet dinner or a glass of wine. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator, gas stove, Keurig coffee maker, toaster oven and crock pot. It also is well stocked with pots and pans, utensils, dishes and a small table. NEW FOR 2021 a washer and dryer have been added to the guesthouse! You will have access to the whole guesthouse which is detached from our house. It is VERY private. Separate parking area and private entrance. We have 4 acres that you are more than welcome to explore. We like for our guests to have their privacy but are available if needed. Quiet neighborhood, close to shopping, restaurants, PSU Altoona, St. Francis and Mount Aloysius, Altoona Hospital, Horseshoe Curve, Blue Knob, I 99 and many parks. Uber is available The guesthouse is ideal for a traveling nurse, medical students or anyone who needs a place to stay for a month or more. Pets will be considered. If accepted there is a pet fee of $25 per pet per month. This fee will be charged once you check in. We have a dog and two cats who live on the property. You might get a visit from Ollie the black and white cat. Shiloh our other cat is shy and won’t visit. Koda is our dog and he doesn’t have access to the guesthouse yard.
