Family Mountain Condo - Slopeside (NEW Listing)

Welcome to our Massanutten home! A relaxing and comfy retreat with the best location for skiing, hiking, relaxing and enjoying the fresh mountain air. Sip your coffee while overlooking the trees on our back deck, and walk out our front door for quick access to the slopes. This newly-refinished two-story space has three bedrooms and 2.5 baths - perfect for a getaway for your family and friends. Common Spaces The living room has plenty of comfortable seating options and a cozy fireplace available to guests, with floor to ceiling windows with complete privacy overlooking the trees and the ski slopes in the distance. The television is hooked up to Comcast cable and an Apple TV. The kitchen/dining area is fully equipped with dishes, silverware, kids dishware, a few kitchen gadgets and many other amenities. The dining table can seat 8 comfortably, and more chairs can be pulled up to accommodate more. There is a desk under the stairs that is perfect for a laptop station, and has maps and information about local tourist attractions. In the foyer is a small reading nook for cozying up to spend alone time. Lastly, we have a deck with a table and chairs and a grill available to guests. It is mostly private and offers great views of the trees. The Bedrooms The master bedroom is located right off of the living room and has a queen bed, an en suite bathroom, closet space, and a TV. The bedding has a down comforter for extra warmth, but can be removed in summer months. The guest bedroom has a full bed, closet space, and a TV; the bathroom shared bathroom is located right next to the guest room. This room is also equipped with a down comforter for extra warmth. The bunk-bed room has two bunk beds (four beds), a closet, and a futon. All bedrooms have black-out curtains. Family Friendly We have children of our own, so we know what's nice on family vacations! This house includes a room with two bunk beds, a pack n' play, high chair, blackout curtains, a variety of board games, fun kitchen appliances (donut maker, quesadilla maker, etc.), baby/toddler toys, and children's books. The Location The house is located about 2.5 miles up from the guard gate at Massanutten, making it the perfect spot - far enough up the mountain and next to the slopes, but close enough to the entrance so it doesn't take very long to get out of the mountain when need be. It's located about a 4 minute walk from the slopes, so you can ski on. In addition to skiing, Massanutten has year-round fun including a waterpark, golf courses, hiking trails, snow tubing (also very close to the house), ice-skating, go-karting, putt putt courses, a spa, restaurants at various spots on the mountain, wine and painting classes, and much more. Just 20 minutes from Massanutten is Harrisonburg that has a variety of delicious food options, kid activities, vineyards and breweries, shopping, and much more.
