Welcome to our “Tiny Getaway,” peacefully nestled at the edge of the woods, on our small homestead. Park near the chicken coop and follow a lit path through the gardens with bees, butterflies, birds, free-roaming chickens, cats, and dogs. Tucked into the edge of the woods with a spot of your own and a view of the garden you will find the "Tiny Getaway". Relax in a hammock by the creek, listen to birds, disconnect and enjoy. Get some organic veggies and eggs for your stay. The Tiny Getaway is tucked away at the edge of the woods on our small organic farm. It's a peaceful space that shares the property with our main house, yet is secluded enough to enjoy your own peace and quiet. The 400 sq ft tiny house is hand-built with an bohemian, farmhouse, rustic charm and lots of sunlight streaming through the windows. The house sleeps up to 2 guests with a full-size bed in the loft, a full-size daybed. There is a small kitchen with a full-size fridge and gas range, sink, french coffee press, electric kettle. It also has a small bathroom with a farm-style trough bathtub/shower, toilet, and sink. On the property, you will find the main house surrounded by flower gardens, free-roaming chickens, and an organic vegetable garden(where you can get eggs and veggies). The Tiny Getaway is along a trail through the garden at the edge of the woods. An easy 10-minute drive to historic Hillsborough and historic Mebane, both welcoming small towns with coffee shops, restaurants, bars, shopping, antiques, a local co-op, farmer’s markets, hiking, biking, libraries, and local music.
