Blue Crab Bungalow

Come on down to the river for a restful weekend! And of course plenty of good food, drink and live music! Thank you USA Today! In June 2018 they named Colonial Beach one of the best beaches in America! Our bungalow is perfect for walking or bike riding to our public beaches and to beautiful sunsets on the bay. Enjoy...wineries....music....food...art....history....craft beers...or just sitting in the sun, by our sandy beach! Come on over! This is really perfect for a couple's get-a-way....but we have a nice futon couch and futon (single) chair in the living room... You will have the run of the bungalow during your stay in Colonial Beach.... I live in town....and am usually just a phone call away if questions come up. You will be very close to beaches and bay sunsets! Restaurants and bars with live entertainment are just a few blocks away. The Blue Crab Bungalow sits in an area of our town known as the Point. It is a peninsula that has the 7 mile-wide Potomac River on one side and Monroe Bay on the other side. We have speculator sunrises and sunsets for your viewing pleasure. We also have art galleries, a museum, library and many churches. I will have a book waiting for you describing all that is available for you to enjoy! The community is very walkable....but we also have bikes to use....and a free trolley system during the summer months. The cottage has a cozy clawfoot tub that many will enjoy; but for some, may be difficult to access.
