This is a single story apartment complex built in the 50's. It has been in our family for over 5 decades and 3 generations. It is a quiet, quaint complex with hardwood floors, bright casement windows, and plenty of space for a single or couple. The apartment is in our favorite part of town, less than a mile to the center of downtown, 2 miles to Doctors Hospital, 3.3 miles to Memorial Hospital, & 5.5 miles to Kaiser's Hospital. There is also a great new walking trail 1 block away. Welcome! This is a completely self contained unit that includes washer and dryer, fast wireless internet (25+ mbps), gas range, fridge/freezer, bath/shower combo, wall AC unit & gas floor furnace for heat. Welcome! There is a shared patio out the back door for enjoying outside and a large grass area in the front. I actively manage this apartment and you will have my cell phone and can call me anytime with questions or concerns. This apartment is a half block away from the Modesto Jr. College in one of the older, more established neighborhoods. It has beautiful, old trees lining the streets and a new activity trail a stones throw from your front door. Although it is in this established neighborhood, it is a quick walk to the center of downtown where all the great eating and entertainment is. Enjoy! Local bus stops are 2 stops away, the main bus depot is less than a mile in downtown. Uber & Lyft are available in Modesto. There is a great biking and walking trail half block from the apartment. If you have a pet you would like to bring, please let me know at the time of booking. I generally allow guests to bring their pet, but I will charge according to your length of stay and pet type. At a minimum there will be an additional cleaning fee of $40. This cleaning fee also applies to service animals.
