We use CDC cleaning protocols on all surfaces and linens. Private year round home with Smoke Free sparkling interior. Central Air and Heating and gas log for year round comfort. Smart TV, WiFi, and DVD player. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, natural gas stove, microwave, and quartz counter-tops. Close to wildlife sanctuary, bird observatory and Cape May Point State Park. 2nd floor deck. Landscaped backyard with chairs and table. Gas grill/fire pit. Beach passes to Cape May and the Point. We use CDC cleaning protocols on all surfaces and linens. 4 bedrooms where the quilts and extra pillows have been removed with clean white blankets that are changed with every rental. All surfaces (railings, nobs, handle, switch, lamp, remotes, faucet, bath and kitchen fixture) through out the house are sanitized after each rental. You will be able to enjoy a covid19 free environment. Great WiFi for those virtual visits to family and friends. Bring your own cable for Ethernet connection and work from a vacation home. The kitchen has everything you could need to cook up those delicious new recipes we are all discovering during sheltering in place. This is a home away from home, with lovely quiet beaches and backyard grill to cook up your favorite seafood or bring in food from takeout. 2020 vacation will look different but our home will provide you with a safe clean escape. The Point is a quiet neighborhood and there are year round neighbors who are friends. We hope you will feel like this house is like a home away from home and caring for it with the same care we have taken to create a serene environment. There is only one shop in town, the Red Store, a little cash only shop and restaurant, on the circle at the heart of Cape May Point. Mail can be receive through "general delivery" at the post office on YaleAv, an 8 Minute walk. There are birders all year but especially during migration seasons. There is a natural museum at the Lighthouse State Park. You can climb the light house to have a view of the beautiful natural environment of dunes, fresh water lakes and scruff pines. There is a natural conservancy area on the east side of Sunset Av about a mile away. Please leave only footprints. We love our natural pristine environment. The beaches of the point border the Atlantic and the Delaware Bay. The beaches at between Alexander and Sunset as well as the state park require no beach tags. Search for Cape May diamonds on sunset beach, view the remains of the concrete ship, or play mini golf. Extra Beach tags (memorial day- labor day) for the Point can be purchased from the behind municipal on Lighthouse Av. Six beach tags available with the house are for both Point and Cape May Point. Cape May Beaches about 2 miles away. The surf is a bit higher in Cape May as it faces the Atlantic Ocean. There is a drive for 2 cars, but 4 can squeeze in if needed. You can locally rent bikes, or golf carts....if you are looking for other modes of transportation. Following CDC cleaning guidelines. Considering your comfort and safety our linens are sanitized to CDC standards. If you prefer using your own pillows and linens please let me know so the beds can bed left bare.
