Bessie

Bessie is a very livable 30' Silver Streak trailer set on beautiful flat, sunny land just a stone's throw from the coast. Set at 1000' elevation just above Davenport, the climate is ideal year round. There is a full kitchen and bath although the shower and trailer are not ideal for tall guests. I know your pet is the cutest pet in the world and so amazing it’s almost human but I still cannot allow them. Guests can enjoy dining outside or at the built-in counter indoors. Bessie is set in a sunny spot bordering a Christmas tree farm. The 10 minute drive to Davenport or the 20 minute drive to Santa Cruz is very scenic and pleasant. There is limited cell service in Bonny Doon but Bessie does have WiFi. I am generally on site but I do travel at times as well so hopefully guests are independent. The space is generally very peaceful but we are in a neighborhood so you might hear kids, mowers or other equipment at times. At night coyotes and owls are common and the crows like sunrise. Occasionally the stray peacock, wild turkey or rooster can be heard in the distance. Please drive slowly and review directions before arriving because neighborhood is a bit of a maze Parking is plentiful and the public bus line is nearby but not very frequent. You really need a car here. We have great well water so please do not bring water in plastic bottles. I’m involved with Save Our Shores and am very interested in getting people to stop using single use plastic.
