Beautiful historic Covington house built in 1895 with original hardwood floors and tiled fireplaces. Featuring 3 Bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Amenities include cable/internet, washer/dryer, large kitchen, patio/grill, 3 televisions and an office. Conveniently located within 5 minutes of Downtown Cincinnati and within 15 minutes of the CVG international airport. Dogs allowed with approval (up to 2). Large extra lot included on property. Grocery services available on request. Classically built home which stayed in the same family for over a century before I purchased it. For generations the house remained unchanged allowing it to keep all the original charms that make it unique such as pocket doors, inlaid wooden floors, tile fireplaces, stained glass and wall leathering. When I purchased this home it had been poorly maintained for a number of years but the charm was there, the house was well built and I wanted to restore it to its former glory. I wanted to give the home all the modern comforts of home while still retaining all of the original features and charms that make it uniquely classic. Guests will have access to the whole home which includes both the 1st and 2nd floor, yard and patio. I ask that guests not enter the basement which is locked by a simple slide latch unless there is an emergency such as a tornado. It is just an old unfinished basement I use for storage but the stairs leading down are quite crooked and uneven and there are a few pipes that could cause injury if tripping. Covington KY sits just south of downtown Cincinnati Ohio. It features many exciting restaurant and entertainment options including a bar district and a brewery. My house is located on a residential street. It is a very short drive to hotspots around Covington and downtown Cincinnati but is residential for a few blocks in all directions keeping it quiet and parking easy. Parking is non-restricted street parking. No passes or paid parking required. I own 2 lots so there is always plenty of room in front of the house. Generally the street has room for approx. 2 cars directly in front of the house. On the worst nights space may tighten up some but worst case guests will still be able to find a spot on the block either across the street or a few doors down. Check-out is 11AM Check in is 2PM Flexible check-in available upon request and dependent on previous nights availability. If listing is booked the night before your visit then check-in is 2PM. $125/night pricing includes 1-4 guests. Each additional guest after 4 adds $20 per person per night. Guests are responsible for cleaning the premise before checkout. Responsibilities include cleaning all dishes, wiping down counters, tables, stove-top, and common tables. Trash cans are to be emptied and bags placed into the outside trash bin. All towels and washcloths are to be washed in the washing machine. Guests will not be responsible for drying the towels and stripping down beds as host will do this on turnover. Please clean any accidents or messes that occur on your visit immediately. Cleaning supplies provided. Please complete the above tasks to avoid paying a $150 cleaning fees which will only be assessed if the above steps are not followed While the house does have central heating/AC, due to the age of the house the air ducts do not extend to upstairs. To supplement each bedroom has its own A/C unit and radiator style space heater. Guests visiting during winter month be advise please do not place anything on or around the heaters. I am happy to stock the refrigerator for your stay on request. If you are interested I can provide breakfast items, snacks or anything really. The price for this service is the price on the receipt (provided) plus 10% which will be added to your bill. To take advantage of this service contact me any time and we can come up with a grocery list that fits your needs so it is ready and waiting when you arrive. Coffee is always free and provided regardless of whether you add grocery service or not. Dogs are allowed with approval (maximum 2). A $25/week pet fee will be added for guests with dogs. Large fenced in extra yard gives room for dogs to run. Dogs are not allowed on beds or couches. Guests are responsible for disposing of all pet waste into the outdoor trash receptacles. While at the home unattended dogs must be kept in the kitchen behind a gate (provided) to prevent accidents on the furniture and floors. Any accidents that do occur must be cleaned immediately by the guest with provided supplies. 2 video security cameras are on site. One is located outside at the front entrance. The other is located outside at the rear entry.
