Gillian is a marine scientist who has spent two decades advancing scientific understanding of ocean and coastal science, climate and global change, and improving society's ability to plan and respond. When not being an advocate for the environment, Gillian dedicates her life to her beautiful family, and to inspiring and empowering other young women like herself who have been affected by breast cancer to rise above their illness to achieve goals of health and wellness, once thought to be unattainable. Gillian strives to improve the quality of life for these women through a goal-oriented, mind-body-spirit approach to health and wellness, that circle each woman, and provides the resources and strategies for sustainable healthy living. She believes that women can choose wellness and rise above their diagnosis. For guests that visit for long durations we often invite them for a meal or an enjoyable glass of wine in the garden. The apartment is a self-contained apartment with it's own entrance/exit - it's not unusual to rarely see guests unless a concerted effort is made.
