Wanting a more simple life and escape from the rat race, this little haven was created and filled our dreams for our family of 5. Now that our children are grown, we feel like this place is too special not to share with others, that you might create a few memories here just as we have. Nestled in 5 acres of the Frosty Outpost Christmas Trees Farm, the cozy little house has a pond and gardens that can be viewed while sitting on the large front porch enjoying a cold drink or a cup of hot coffee. Feel free to take a stroll across the boardwalk and through the trees. You can borrow a fishing pole and maybe catch nibble or two or just sit and enjoy the sounds of the surrounding nature and birds. We currently have one downstairs guest room that can sleep two, with a private bath and entrance. There is a twin size Murphy bed for one (225 lbs max) and a couch that is comfortable to sleep on. There is a TV, DVD player with movies, Roku, Nintendo game system, snack basket, a Keurig coffee maker, microwave, air conditioner, small fan, and small refrigerator. Common areas include the entire grounds, front and rear porch, and the laundry room. Serve yourself to breakfast snack foods such as muffins, yogurt, granola bars, oatmeal, fresh fruit, juice and coffee. This list is subject to change. We are located between Greenville, OH and Richmond, IN, just 12 miles from Interstate 70 Exit 153 in Indiana. Both towns have many unique restaurants, shops and attractions. We're just 10 miles, a pleasant 15 minute drive, from Greenville, OH. We believe you will enjoy your stay at our quaint little home and property. We look forward to sharing it and meeting you! Drive and park on the gravel lane next to the private side entrance on the west side of the house. Please do not cut corners in the curves and stay on the gravel! Host will interact as little or as much as you prefer. We're in a very rural location. We're surrounded by fields of beans and corn. A dairy farm is across the road, but never an odor or issue. Maybe an occasional "moooooo"! Assistance animals are restricted. Ask us for details.
