The Compass South- The Travelers Stay Near TSU

Newly Remodeled 1940s house with lots of charm and modern comfort. The "Compass South", which is one of two units in The Compass, is decorated with a travel theme using unique vintage travel memorabilia and souvenirs from our travels around the world. You will enjoy the spacious bedroom, large bathroom, living room with sofa bed and a kitchenette complete with mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and some snacks, and fast internet. Also see The Compass North and The Compass Entire House This is one house divided into two separate units by a safe, solid, locked security door. You have your own private entrance and your own thermostat. The only time you might see guests from the other unit, is in the parking area. A keypad entry and drive-up parking gives you quick and safe access to your private space. There are no inside shared spaces with guests from The Compass North. The only time you make see guests from The Compass North is outside or in the driveway. Guest have their own parking spot, their own entrance, living Room, bedroom, bathroom, and kitchenette. We live close by and we love to meet our guests. If you need any recommendations about food, places to see or places to worship, we would be glad to answer any questions you may have or give suggestions. We are located 63 miles southwest of Ft. Worth in the center of Stephenville, Texas. We are also 12 mi from Dublin and 20 mi from Hico all of which have museums, food and shopping. We are within 10 miles of all the major venues in our area: 3 blocks from Tarleton State University, 0.6 mi from the Big Red Barn Event Center, 3 mi. from Lone Star Arena, 5.6 mi from Clinton Anderson's Down Under Horsemanship Ranch, 10 mi from the The N at Hardway Ranch, and 10 mi. from Dove Creek Ranch in Dublin. We do live close to a school. During school hours, some of the streets close by change to 'one way'. Be aware and read signs. *Please read carefully about how the house is set up. *The cost is for 2 guests. Additional guests are $20 per person, per night. No charge for infants. *Owners will not be responsible for accidents or injury to guests, or for the loss of their money, jewelry, or valuables of any kind. *Please keep all doors locked when not on the property. *There will be a $250 fee added if determined that smoking or vaping happened in the house. *There will be a $250 added if discovered that guests brought their pets inside the house. *No parties or events. *No drugs. *We ask that guests be considerate of their noise for the guests on the other side. Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am *For stays lasting more than 7 days, we require a cleaning every week for the same price as the current cleaning fee. Arrangements will be made with the guests. *Home owners reserve the right to enter the house in case of an emergency.
