The Reverie sits on 70+ acres of privacy and serenity in wine country just minutes from downtown Lovettsville, VA and Brunswick, MD. Close to parks, vineyards, a casino, shops, and hiking. Spectacular views of the Potomac River from nearly every window. The property includes a fire pit, BBQ grill with patio seating area, large yard, private hiking trails, creek, and waterfront access. Reverie is the perfect gathering place for large groups, corporate retreats, family reunions, or an intimate gathering of friends. Enter the property on a half-mile wooded drive down to the large, contemporary house with plenty of parking for 10+ vehicles. Newly decorated with mid-century modern decor and furniture throughout the entire 8000-square-foot home. Sleeps up to 18 people. Additional guests considered on a case by case basis but are not permitted without prior approval. 6 bedrooms, 6 full baths (3 en suite private, 2 hallway, 1 Jack & Jill), 1 half bath. LEVEL ONE: -Bedrm 1: 1 King master suite with large walk-in closet. Portable twin bed (with bedding) available in the closet. -Bedrm 2: 1 Queen bedroom with access to full bath in hall. -Gym: The gym does not have any equipment yet and is currently set up with 1 King bed and 1 portable twin bed (with bedding). However, it is open to the loft area above so privacy is limited; this room is directly across from a full bathroom in the hallway. -Office/Conference Room: The conference room is just past the kitchen. It has a table that seats 8 people and overlooks the backyard with a great view of the river. -Kitchen: Expansive kitchen with a breakfast bar, full-size refrigerator and freezer, oven plus convection oven/microwave, coffee makers (Keurig, Standard Drip Coffeemaker, and Europress), toaster, bar area, and pantry. Enough plates/silverware for 18+ guests. Two additional 10.1 cubic ft refrigerator/freezers are available in the mudroom. LEVEL TWO: -Bedrm 1: 2 Queen beds, shares a Jack & Jill bath with adjoining Bedrm 2. 1 Walk in closet. -Bedrm 2: 1 King bed, shares a Jack & Jill bath with adjoining Bedrm 1. Two walk in closets. -Bedrm 3: 1 King bed with 1 Full bed in the large closet (perfect for child or teen) and private full bath. Additional large second closet. -Bedrm 4: King master suite with large walk in closet. Portable twin bed (with bedding) is available in closet. -Upstairs Hallway has 1 additional half bath. -Upstairs Loft area makes a great space for kids and teens to hang out. Three additional portable twin beds (with bedding) are available in the loft area. -The twin beds are comprised of the following: Sturdy, fold-able, metal frames, 6” Memory Foam mattress, twin sheet set, pillow, and blanket. Linens and towels are provided as well as soap, shampoo, and conditioner. WiFi throughout; YouTube TV, Netflix, and Hulu are available on both TVs (great room and game room). OUTDOORS: -Wood burning fire pit -Propane burning fire pit -Covered dining area -Propane Grill -Hot Tub (7 Person) for additional $200 fee and signed waiver form -Add a fully furnished Bell tent for the weekend for an additional $350 (up to 4 tents available). Multiple locations for setting up the tent are available throughout the property. Each tent includes: 2 twin or 1 King mattress set (sheet, blanket, pillow), 2 decorative pillows, 2 bedside tables, 1 plant, rug, and lantern. At the House: Relax in the swings on the back porch Make s’mores at the fire pit Play a game of tag, frisbee, cornhole, or wiffle ball on the large back lawn Watch the sun set over the Potomac Enjoy fishing from the water’s edge Explore the creek or go wading in the river (Note: This home has 1100' of direct water access but the trail to the river is steep so if you bring your own kayaks or canoes please contact the owner to be certain you want to make the climb). The MARC train station in Brunswick also provides access for day trips into Washington, DC. MARC train station 10 minutes away in Brunswick, MD. No pets allowed.
