15% off Blakiston Adventure Rentals in Waterton (electric bikes, paddleboards, canoes and kayaks) for any bookings at White Birch Suite or Temple Side Manor. The price on this basement suite was reduced because the rugs were taken out due to the horrible hail/rain storm we had on July 5th. The suite is spacious and well lit and has no musty smell whatsoever. The bathroom was not affected by the storm as it has tile flooring Separate entrance from main floor. A TV was put in on Octob (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) It only has a hook up to a DVD player. There is no cable or apple TV. You can use the HDMI cable to hook up to your computer to watch whatever is accessible on your computer. The basement is a full basement. DUE TO INSURANCE REGULATIONS, NO HOT PLATES ARE ALLOWED IN THE BASEMENT. One guest, however, who rented for an extended period used a Salton Induction Cooktop which does not heat up unless there is a pan on it. When the insurance company was asked if it was permissible, they did not respond. The huge recreation room has a full size ping pong table for guests to use. There is a door separating the basement from the main floor with a deadbolt that locks on both sides. Renters in the basement DO NOT have access to the full kitchen or laundry room on the main floor, but do have a microwave and fridge. There is a new laundry facility a few blocks from the house. The deadbolt is kept locked unless the renters have booked the whole house. Unfortunately, on the 5th of July Cardston had a terrible hail and rain storm. Our basement was flooded. We had to remove all the rugs. If you are OK with a reduced rate and an unfinished cement floor, this should work well for you. The bathroom has tile floor which was not damaged. The water was rainwater, not sewer water. The basement is safe and has no musty smell in it whatsoever. Access to the basement is through a side door with a keyless entry. We live 6 blocks away so are close enough to visit and offer any needed assistance. We love to meet our guests. The town is 30 minutes from Waterton Lake National Park and Glacier National Park. The Going To The Sun road is a must see if you haven’t already driven it. Summer Theatre is always professionally done and an outdoor pool with two slides and a slow river are great for the children. The Remington Carriage House Museum holds the largest collection of horse drawn carriages in the world and is open year round. It also has a restaurant attached. There is a playground across the street from the house as well as a tennis court. Everything is within a 3 minute drive in Cardston. There is a beautiful golf coarse two minutes away. Dairy Queen, Subway, Kentucky Fried Chicken and A & W are just minutes away.
